What do you need to do? 

• Add a second device (smartphone) to your EU LOGIN account.

                                                 AND

• Download the EU login app onto your phone (IOS or Android).

Complete the process according to steps explained in the instructions document  or watch the video tutorial (will be added soon).

All your information on your Europass account will stay as it is. It is only one extra step that you will need to do to ensure your data is better protected.

Why do you need to do this?

• To ensure additional data security;
• To reduce fraudulent activities;
• To be able to access your account from any system or environment without the risk to your personal and sensitive data.

Background Information

Increasing the security of your data is of the utmost importance for the European Commission. This is the reason why we are implementing a new step in the authentication system in the Europass Portal as of March 2022.
