Europass and EURES become stronger together with one goal – better supporting job seekers!

Europass and EURES are strengthening their connection, bringing jobseekers registered on Europass even closer to new opportunities! As of 31 March 2025, jobseeker accounts and the CV builder will no longer be available on the EURES portal. EURES job seekers were invited to transfer their CVs to Europass or to renew their profiles directly in Europass and seamlessly share them with EURES.

Control of personal data – a key consideration for European Digital Credentials for Learning

Engaging in any new activity entails considerations around the processing and storage of personal data. Adherence to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – or in the case of European Digital Credentials for Learning (EDC) the EUDPR (i.e., the data protection Regulation applicable to EU institutions, agencies and other bodies) –, has become a given.

Europass Mobility: an updated template and steps towards digitalisation

Europass Mobility, first introduced in 2004, is a well-established template which describes the skills acquired abroad on mobility experiences for learning or work. Europass Mobility can help communicate the new skills and experiences acquired during a traineeship, volunteering or a learning period abroad in a comparable way. Following a consultation of the National Europass Centres and Erasmus+ National Agencies in 2021, a project group was set up to modernise and simplify the template as well as provide the next steps towards its digitisation.
