Als instructeur speurhonden ben je verantwoordelijk voor de opleiding en training van speurhonden. Je zorgt ervoor dat de honden een hoog niveau behalen, zodat ze uiteindelijk succesvol kunnen worden ingezet. Naast het opleiden van de honden, begeleid en coach je ook de geleiders en draag je bij aan praktijktrainingen. Zodra de hond het gewenste niveau bereikt, draag je deze over aan een geleider en geef je verdere instructie. Je draagt zorg voor een goede administratie van honden en geleiders. Daarnaast ben je in staat om met een fysieke en mentale inspanning te werken aan de training van de honden. Een goede lichamelijke conditie is daarom een pre. Je bent dagelijks bezig met de opleiding van de honden en geleiders en houdt zelf ook 2 honden bij je thuis. Hiervoor is het van belang dat je woonsituatie voldoende ruimte biedt voor het plaatsen van twee kennels. Je standplaats Middenbeemster en landelijke op verschillende trainingslocaties.
