Here in Atelier Vierkant we make large ceramic pots by hand, these pots are built up and finished with clay. Once dry they are baked and shipped to all corners of the world.
For the finishing team we are looking for an extra employee.
Some of your tasks:
- Filling holes and cracks in ceramic pots with clay and with the necessary tools.
- Providing pots with the requested finish, there are 16 different ways to finish a pot..
- Using your transpalet to take the pot to the drying rooms before starting the next pot.
- Of course you are also responsible for the cleanliness of the workplace.
This is a physically demanding job where you work with your hands in the clay. Everything is done manually there are no machines involved. So we are looking for a person who is eager to learn and motivated to learn this unique job but who can also do physical work and is not afraid to get their hands dirty. It is a very challenging job where you can enjoy very good company training.
- Good Knowledge of English or basic knowledge of English AND good knowledge of Romanian, Polish or Spanish. You will be joining a multicultural company.

- You cannot get here by public transport, there is no bus stop from 'De lijn' nearby. From the station in Bruges there is a free bus for employees, from Ostend you have to come by car, bicycle, scooter or step.

- Take full ownership of preparing, reviewing and validating payroll for temporary employees, you're the guardian of accuracy and compliance.
- Bring every payroll cycle to life by managing all variable elements: hours, bonuses, premiums, absences and more.
- Ensure smooth, timely payments and guarantee the highest quality of all payroll data.
- Safeguard compliance by applying collective labour agreements, sector-specific rules and Belgian social legislation with confidence.
- Stay ahead of legal and social developments and help the company adapt its internal processes proactively.
- Be the trusted go-to expert for all payroll-related questions, for colleagues, clients, and temporary workers alike.
- Work hand-in-hand with administrative, legal and finance teams to streamline workflows and tackle complex cases.
- Deliver meaningful payroll reports and insights that support managers and drive decision-making.
- Play an active role in internal and external audits, ensuring the integrity of payroll processes.
- Identify opportunities for smarter, more automated, and more efficient payroll operations.
- Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of modern payroll systems, your impact will be visible every day.
- Master's degree in Management, Human Resources, Social Law or a related field, giving you the solid foundation to thrive in a complex and evolving payroll environment.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in payroll administration, ideally within the staffing or HR services sector; you know the pace, the challenges and the impact of flawless payroll.
- You are fluent in Dutch and have a good command of French and English.
- Strong command of payroll software (e.g., Easypay) and a natural curiosity for digital tools that make processes smarter and more efficient.
- In-depth knowledge of Belgian labour law and the specific regulatory framework of the temporary employment sector, allowing you to navigate compliance with confidence.
- A real team player, eager to collaborate, share insights and support colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to translate complex payroll matters into clear, helpful guidance for clients, candidates and internal stakeholders.
