A home to belong. It has been this way for over 150 years. The first five star hotel of Amsterdam opened her doors in 1867. Designed by Samuel Sarphati, it took exactly one year to build the hotel. Responsibilities
- Create Lasting Impressions: Welcome guests with genuine warmth during check-in and check-out, using their names to create a personal and memorable experience. - Anticipate Every Need: Assign rooms with care and precision, ensuring each guest's preferences and expectations are met seamlessly. - Exemplify Amstel Standards: Work according to the hotel's standards and scheduled shifts - including morning and evening shifts, and night shifts when needed. - Assist with Care: Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently and with elegance, involving management when needed to ensure complete satisfaction. - Guide with Confidence: Provide accurate and helpful information about the hotel's facilities, services, and surroundings, enriching each guest's experience in our city.
Requirements
- A true team player, who enjoys working together to create exceptional guest experiences; - A passion for luxury hospitality and a natural sense of service; - Detail-oriented, creative, and highly motivated to exceed expectations; - A positive attitude and a warm, welcoming presence; - Strong communication skills and the ability to connect effortlessly with guests and colleagues; - A good command of the English language; knowledge of Dutch is a plus; - Familiarity with Opera PMS is an advantage.
