The RoleThis is your opportunity to own and drive our people strategy. As our HR Specialist, you'll take the lead on key HR initiatives and people operations, working autonomously while collaborating with our leadership team. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing effective HR processes, fostering a strong team culture, and ensuring our guides and hosts feel supported, valued, and motivated. From recruiting top talent to developing retention strategies and managing employee relations, you'll play a vital role in building and maintaining an exceptional workplace.

Key Responsibilities- Recruitment & Talent Management: Lead the full recruitment cycle, from strategy and job posting through candidate sourcing, screening interviews, and onboarding. You'll organize audition tours, prepare contracts, and implement recruitment improvements to attract and retain top talent.
- Employee Relations & Culture Strategy: Develop and execute initiatives that strengthen team culture, manage employee relations, and address workplace concerns with discretion and professionalism. You'll take the lead on planning team events, celebrations, and culture-building activities that align with company values.
- HR Systems & Data Management: Oversee and optimize our HR software ecosystem (HR-ON, Planday, Fareharbor, and related platforms), ensuring accurate data, efficient workflows, and compliance. You'll identify process improvements and implement solutions that streamline operations.
- Performance Management & Development: Design and administer our performance review process, compile and analyze feedback data, and support professional development initiatives. You'll work with leadership to identify talent gaps and create growth opportunities.
- HR Compliance & Policy Development: Ensure the company maintains compliance with Danish labor laws and international employment standards. You'll develop, update, and communicate HR policies, documentation, and procedures.
- Employee Engagement & Retention: Develop strategies to improve employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention. You'll conduct surveys, analyze trends, and recommend data-driven improvements to workplace practices.
- A strategic people leader with excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Highly organized with strong project management abilities and the ability to handle multiple priorities independently.
- A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership, exercises good judgment, and thinks creatively about HR challenges.
- Discreet, trustworthy, and skilled at handling sensitive information and difficult conversations with professionalism.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and metrics to inform decision-making.
Bonus points if you have:
- Hands-on experience with HR-ON, Planday, Fareharbor, or similar platforms
- Experience working in international, team-based, or tourism/hospitality environments
- Knowledge of Danish employment law and regulations
- Experience designing HR processes and implementing best practices
