Tasks

Typical work tasks will be

• Safe controls in start-up / shutdown of process equipment.

• Provide guidance to the field operators on field operation requirements.

• Alarm Management and investigation of repetitive alarming.

• Monitor operating parameters of level, pressure, flow rate, temperature etc. 

• Liaise with concerned parties on current operating conditions.

• Adjust operating parameters set points to meet process and product requirements as stipulated in guidelines or operating envelope.

• Produce daily operations report, highlighting equipment and process faults compiled from operators timely.

• Assist the team lead in preparation of monthly plant performance and equipment run hours, including availability statistics.

• Operate safeguarding systems.

• Maintain records showing movement of plant documents and tools/equipment. 

• Update the incoming control room operator on the status.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in control room operations.

• Technical competence certification.

• Essential Offshore Safety Training: BOSIET, HUET, FOET.

Job description: Industrial painting, surface preparation and protective coating work on offshore oil and gas installations in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea. Typical work includes abrasive blasting, water jetting, coating application by airless spray / brush / roller, stripe coating, and application or repair of epoxy intumescent passive fire protection (PFP), including Chartek systems. Work is performed in accordance with project specifications, coating procedures, HSE requirements and client quality standards. Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of relevant, documented experience in industrial painting and surface treatment. - Hands-on experience with surface preparation, including abrasive blasting and/or high-pressure water jetting, and application of protective coating systems. - Documented experience with epoxy intumescent passive fire protection (PFP), preferably Chartek or equivalent systems. - Experience with NORSOK M-501 or equivalent offshore coating requirements is an advantage. - Trade certificate (fagbrev) in industrial painting/surface treatment is an advantage. Candidates without a trade certificate must meet §13 or equivalent site-test competence requirements, where applicable. - Minimum B1 level in a Scandinavian language: Norwegian, Swedish or Danish. - Before offshore mobilisation, candidates must meet the assignment-specific requirements for recognised basic safety/emergency training and a valid offshore medical certificate.
