Essential duties & responsibilities:
· Develop, implement and manage strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
· Assess business conditions by geography and vertical market.
· Meet key clients, building relationships and negotiating to bring on new business.
· Provide samples, demonstrations, trials and support for prospective and current
customers.
· Identify and evaluate new opportunities.
· Generate target list of large end-user customers to pursue.
· Direct and maintain sales forecasting activities.
· Manage customer financial management.
· Communicate competitive market pricing.
· Attend trade-related events that enhance account relationships and the
market position.
· Maintain close internal and external communication.
· Report to the Director Sales and Marketing.
Education & experience:
· Bachelor/Master degree in chemistry or equivalent by experience.
· Min. 3 years of commercial B2B experience, preferred in a chemical environment.
· Knowledge of polymer technology is a plus.
Skills:
· Sales relationship builder with “hunting” mindset.
· Willing to travel abroad (max 2 weeks per month).
· Good knowledge of English and German
