What is the ELM?
Evropský digitální certifikát o vzdělání (EDC) je ověřitelná, digitální verze certifikátu vydaného organizací studentovi za účelem zdokumentování jeho studia. Patří mezi ně diplomy, osvědčení o odborné přípravě, mikrocertifikáty, osvědčení o účasti a další. Mohou být vydávány ve všech jazycích EU a Europass a jsou podepsány elektronickou pečetí (formou digitálního podpisu patřícího důvěryhodné instituci nebo organizaci).

The European Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights, Nicolas Schmit launched the European Digital Credentials for learning in an all-digital event on 25 October 2021 streamed via Youtube, Zoom, Facebook and Twitter.

The meetings will aim to reduce the current fragmentation of the digital credential market and enable EU citizens to have their digital credentials read, displayed and stored in various public and private platforms.
University of Split successfully issues Europass Digital Credentials
Europass Digital Credentials confirm and provide evidence of learning outcomes and qualifications gained, such as diplomas. The standardisation of these credentials supports better understanding and verification of qualifications or other learning achievements. They can be used for formal education, non-formal and informal learning.
