Description de la fonction
Le (ou la) technicien(ne) de surface du Service Logistique assure l'entretien et le nettoyage des différents types de locaux des bâtiments occupés par la Zone de police Bruxelles Capitale Ixelles. Il s'agit d'un travail à mi-temps ou temps-plein selon la procédure prévue.
Tâches du technicien de surface
Effectuer l'entretien des locaux
A cette fin, il (ou elle) est chargé(e) de :
- Entretenir les poubelles (vidange, lavage, mise en place de sacs, remplir et sortir les containers) ;
- Dépoussiérage (humide et/ou à sec) du local, du ou des poste(s) de travail et du mobilier ;
- Entretenir les vitres et les châssis intérieurs au bâtiment ;
- Laver les différents types de sol au moyen des techniques de nettoyage adéquates ;
- Entretenir les sanitaires au moyen des techniques de nettoyage adéquates ;
- Entretien classique léger du matériel ICT (écran, clavier, souris, imprimante ,.)
Entretenir, vérifier et ranger le petit et le gros matériel d'entretien
- Assurer le nettoyage du chariot et des accessoires liés ;
- Signaler et faire procéder aux réparations nécessaires ;
- Ranger le matériel et les produits et en assurer la gestion sur base des directives du Service Logistique
Tâches occasionnelles assurées suivant les nécessités de service
- Cantine roulante, gestion d'un point d'approvisionnement lors de services d'ordre ou d'évènements spécifiques, participation à des chantiers de nettoyage.
- Posséder la nationalité belge ou ressortissant d'un des pays membres de l'Union Européenne ;
- Permis de conduire B obligatoire, le permis C est un atout ;

- Connaître le matériel, les techniques utiles à la fonction et les produits de nettoyage ;
- Connaissance des règles d'ergonomie, de sécurité et d'hygiène applicables au domaine du nettoyage ;
- Utiliser des machines industrielles de nettoyage ;

- Savoir organiser et planifier son travail de manière autonome et optimale ;
- Gérer ses produits et son matériel de manière responsable ;
- Être prêt(e) à suivre des formations ;
- Être soigneux(se) et méthodique dans l'exécution de son travail ;
- Être ponctuel(le) ;
- Faire preuve de discrétion ;
- Faire preuve d'esprit d'équipe et d'initiative ;
- Résistance au stress ;

Project
The project “InForM: Inference, Forecasting, and Mitigation of Future Epidemics” (InForM) is funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation. Its goal is to develop and apply data science tools to strengthen epidemic preparedness. To reach this goal, the project seeks to hire an excellent PhD student to improve statistical methods used for epidemic forecasting (e.g. methods to sample and summarize ensembles of simulated epidemic trajectories).
The PhD will be supervised by PI Jonas L Juul, Assistant Professor in Data Science at the IT University of Copenhagen (see https://jonassjuul.github.io), and Vedran Sekara, Associate Professor in Data Science at the IT University of Copenhagen.
Main responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the advancement of groundbreaking research with crucial societal implications, in a highly dynamic and interdisciplinary environment,
- Coauthor scientific papers aimed at high-impact journals, participate in international conferences, and participate in advanced university classes to learn new skills,
- Work as a teaching assistant at the IT University of Copenhagen,
- Do a research stay in a world-class research environment abroad.
- You have a master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Statistics, or a related field.
- You are an experienced programmer, e.g. in Python,
- You have a deep understanding of applied statistics,
- You have previous experience with data visualization.

The Project

One to improve statistical methods used for epidemic forecasting (e.g. methods to sample and summarize ensembles of simulated epidemic trajectories), and another to improve our understanding of the detailed spread of COVID-19 in Denmark during the pandemic (by studying large datasets of COVID-19 phylogenies in combination with Danish registry data.)
The postdocs will be mentored by PI Jonas L Juul, Assistant Professor in Data Science at the IT University of Copenhagen (see https://jonassjuul.github.io).
