Duties and responsibilities
Seaonics is establishing a Product Management function to drive standardisation, reuse and commercial strength across our portfolio of mission-critical handling equipment (cranes, gangways, LARS, A-frames, W2W systems). We are looking for a Product Portfolio Manager to lead this function.
Seaonics already has Product Line Owners distributed across Engineering and CS, in Norway and Poland. The PPM provides the framework, portfolio view and commercial rigour that lets them spend their time well on the product side, and aligns the product lines into one coherent portfolio across CS and Engineering.
- Own the portfolio framework on behalf of CTO: planning, resource allocation, roadmap and stage gates
- Drive the product evolution process: prepare and facilitate decisions on when to evolve a line, when to standardise and when to break new ground
- Work with the Product Line Owners and Sales to strengthen commercial discipline (margin, reuse, win rate), and equip sales department with price matrices and reuse logic for productized lines
- Coordinate the commercial and marketing material across the product lines, together with Marketing, Sales and the Product Line Owners, so the portfolio is presented consistently to the market.
- Build business cases and defend capex for product initiatives, representing these towards the CTO, CEO and senior leadership
- Act as the bridge across Sales, CS, Engineering, GSU and the Product Line Owners, formalizing field and market feedback into the roadmap
- Chair the regular product prioritisation forum and drive product priorities proactively
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or similar 3-6 years from product management, business development, technical sales or engineering, ideally in offshore, maritime or industrial equipment
- Experience with business cases, capex justifications and commercial analyses, including pricing strategy and competitive positioning
- Comfortable with margin, cost, pricing, payback and simple financial modelling
- Good understanding of technical products, without needing to be the deepest expert
- Fluent in English; Norwegian is an advantage

Customer Experience & Frontline Operations

Provide outstanding customer service before, during, and after guest experiences, ensuring all client needs are met with professionalism and care.

Manage front desk operations, respond promptly to emails and phone inquiries, and handle customer queries with a solution-oriented approach.

Oversee booking processes, ensuring accuracy and smooth coordination of client programs, schedules, and logistics.

Address reservation-related issues, handle modifications, and manage conflict resolution to deliver a seamless guest journey.
Sales & E-Commerce Optimization

Drive performance across our e-commerce platforms with a focus on increasing conversions and profitability.

Assist in implementing strategies that support seasonal sales targets and guest acquisition.

Support marketing initiatives with visual content (photo/video), promotional materials, and campaign alignment.

Maintain and optimize listings, packages, and offerings on booking platforms and our website.
CRM & Reservation Systems Management

Utilize HubSpot to manage customer communications, leads, and success journeys.

Content & Media Support
