Pas Normal Studios is looking for a Social Media Manager to elevate how we show up across our social channels. We strive to strengthen the connection between our brand and cycling communities across the globe, so we are looking for someone who understands culture, has a sharp creative instinct, and knows how to translate brand storytelling into high-performing, platform-native content.
As part of our Brand Communications team, you will oversee the planning, execution, and continuous development of our social media presence across all major platforms. You will bring campaigns, collections, products, athletes, events, and community moments to life, ensuring everything reflects the Pas Normal Studios brand.
This is a highly collaborative and operational role suited for someone who thrives in a creative environment and understands cycling culture. Occasional travel will be required for key brand moments, events, and community activations.
What you will do
Own and manage the social media and community calendar across all Pas Normal Studios channels
Plan, brief, create, and publish platform-specific content with support from the Creative Team and contributors
Write social-first copy and maintain a consistent, elevated brand tone
Collaborate closely with the Creative Team to ensure visual quality and storytelling standards
Work with E-commerce, Merchandising, and Paid Marketing to align short- and long-term priorities
Oversee community management, ensuring fast, relevant, thoughtful engagement with riders, customers, and partners
Travel to key events, shoots, rides, store openings, and brand moments to capture and publish content in real time
Support ambassadors, athletes, and contributors to maximise social output and storytelling
Monitor and guard brand reputation, tone of voice, and market sensitivities on social channels
To succeed, you will
Develop and continuously refine our social strategy, formats, and content playbook
Actively source content opportunities from internal teams, stores, athletes, and our global community
Create social-first assets when needed (basic editing of photo & video, reels, templates, stories, etc.)
Analyze performance, extract insights, and adjust creative execution and cadence
Balance brand-building and commercial objectives across the social ecosystem
Bring new ideas, formats, and approaches to ensure we stay culturally relevant
Help shape how Pas Normal Studios shows up in emerging platforms and cultural conversations
Ensure every post, story, and interaction reflects our brand values and aesthetic standards
What you bring
5+ years of proven experience managing social media and community engagement for global brands in the cycling industry
Native English speaker with excellent writing and editing skills, with sensitivity to tone and cultural nuance
Familiarity with basic social-first content tools (Adobe Suite, CapCut/VN, Figma/Canva)
Ability to deliver high volume at high quality — structured, proactive, and comfortable with fast turnarounds
Strong collaboration skills and confidence working across many teams and stakeholders
A strong creative eye. You understand what good, impactful and culturally relevant content looks like on social
Understanding of analytics, performance metrics, and insights-based optimisation
Comfort working in visible, high-stakes channels with global audiences
A passion for cycling
Willingness to travel regularly for content, events, and community activations

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Core specialist to coordinate and further develop our state-of-the-art Crystallization Facility, Catalyse4X. The successful candidate will oversee crystallization screening workflows, diffraction data collection, data management infrastructure, and structure determination pipelines, while ensuring seamless service to our user community.
This position offers the opportunity to shape and optimize an integrated workflow spanning automated crystallization imaging through to finalized structural datasets.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Crystallization Facility, ensuring that all activities run efficiently and reliably. This includes overseeing crystallization screening, optimization processes, and crystal handling workflows, while maintaining high instrument uptime through regular maintenance and strict quality control standards.
A key aspect of the position is the implementation and optimization of automated imaging workflows using the IceBear system. This includes developing streamlined pipelines that guide samples from initial crystal identification through to diffraction data collection, as well as integrating imaging outputs with downstream structure determination processes and archiving systems.
The role also supports X-ray diffraction data collection, particularly at synchrotron facilities, and oversees the full structure determination pipeline. This spans data processing, phasing, model building, and refinement, ensuring that all work follows established best practices in crystallographic analysis and validation.
In addition, the position is responsible for developing and maintaining robust data infrastructure. This includes establishing secure data storage solutions, automating data transfer from acquisition systems to user-accessible repositories, and creating standardized approaches for data organization, metadata tracking, and backups. Ensuring compliance with FAIR data principles and institutional policies is an integral part of this work.
Finally, the role provides comprehensive user support and training. This involves working with both internal and external users, developing standard operating procedures, training materials, and workshops, and offering scientific guidance on crystallization strategies and structure determination.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Structural Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, or a related field.
- Extensive hands-on experience in macromolecular crystallography.
- Demonstrated expertise in diffraction data processing and structure refinement.
- Experience with automated crystallization platforms and imaging systems.
- Strong understanding of data storage systems, automation, and computational workflows.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience coordinating a core facility or shared research infrastructure.
- Programming/scripting experience (e.g., Python, shell scripting) for workflow automation.
- Familiarity with LIMS or laboratory data management systems.
- Experience coordinating synchrotron access and remote data collection.
- Interest in implementing AI-driven crystal recognition and analysis tools.

Salary and appointment terms
