What does our department do?
Education
The Human Genetics department contributes to the organization and teaching of regular education in the Bachelor's and Master's programs in the field of study 'Medicine' and 'Biomedical Sciences'. Particularly in the fields: - Medical-, neuro- and tumor genetics; - Metabolic Syndromes; - Radiation and bioinformatics.
Members of the department are involved in organizing and/or teaching for various educational blocks, FOS courses and minors. The department is also widely represented in committees overarching other blocks. In addition, there is a high level of participation in many extra-curricular educational activities, for example, the department gives lectures at other universities and colleges. Post-academic education is also organized, especially within the Graduate School Medical Genetics Center South-West Netherlands (MGC).

The department has an education committee. The education coordinator of the department is mr. prof.dr.ir. J.A.P. (Ko) Willems van Dijk.
