If you have completed a traineeship or a semester studying in another country, and are looking for an official way to record your experience we have something that might interest you! Europass Mobility is a document which can help you to showcase skills acquired during your experience in a simple, consistent and understandable manner.

Does mobility always mean new skills?

Spending some time in another country is a great way to learn about new cultures and develop new skills through a range of different experiences. Europass Mobility helps you to capture and communicate those valuable new skills and experiences gained during a traineeship, volunteering or a semester abroad in a widely recognised way.

How can Europass Mobility benefit me?

For your future career it is important that you are able to reflect on and record the experiences you have gained while travelling, studying or working abroad.

Europass Mobility is a document which describes the skills you develop on a particular mobility experience. The document can include information on your roles and responsibilities, job-related skills, language skills, digital skills, organisation and managerial skills, communication skills. These skills can be very valuable when applying for jobs and courses in the future.

With your Europass Mobility you will be able to simply update your Europass profile with the skills and information from it and store it in your Europass library.

How can I get my Europass Mobility?

If you take part in an organised mobility experience in another country and would like to receive the Europass Mobility, you will need to ask the sending partner (e.g. the school or institution that organising your placement) to register with the National Europass Centre in your country.

The sending partner and the host organisation (the organisation or institution that you will be visiting when abroad) will complete the relevant documents.

You will receive your Europass Mobility after you finish your experience abroad.
