This week we will introduce our recruiter from Eindhoven, Nora Kalmey. Enjoy! 1. How did you end up at Undutchables? I actually had an interview as a candidate with Undutchables myself. Back then I was looking for a position with a strong people and communication focus. Lucky me, this position was open and a month later I changed from an Undutchables candidate to a colleague. 2. What are the most/least enjoyable aspects of your role? I very much enjoy getting to know candidates. Through learning about their CVs, you also always learn a lot about their life trajectory. At the same time, I also always very much enjoy in-person client visits and getting to know companies and how their work dynamics. Less enjoyable are the rejections and when I am not able to offer job opportunities to candidates who are very much in need, especially in the financially and economically challenging times that we are living in at the moment. 3. What is the biggest challenge of the job? A challenge of this job is to stay motivated when companies reject candidates who could have been a really good match. Also, a challenge is to keep all stakeholders in the loop and in close exchange when communication takes longer on one side. As a recruiter you are in the middle of client and candidate and want to ensure a reliable and smooth communication process. 4. What has been your most memorable moment in the job?
