Resort Land & Zee is a new, modern hotel with a unique architectural design. The hotel is located opposite the dunes that lead to the North Sea beach (Zeeland-Southwest Netherlands). Zeeland is a tourist province that consists largely of (former) islands and peninsulas. The resort has a restaurant serving local products.
What do we ask of you?
In the role of Independent Chef / Lunch and Dinner Chef, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen. With your enthusiasm, you will be able to convey your knowledge and skills to the rest of the kitchen team.

You will prepare dishes independently using fresh ingredients. This also includes tasks such as carrying out preparatory work (mise en place), assessing the ingredients to be used, monitoring our quality standards (HACCP) and complying with hygiene regulations (cleaning the kitchen every day).
Together with your passionate colleagues, you will be responsible for preparing lunch and dinner for many guests. The small kitchen team, consisting of one chef for hot dishes, one sous-chef for cold dishes and one dishwasher, is capable of providing up to 120 guests with a delicious meal. Approximately 70% of our guests choose the daily changing 3-course menu with a choice of fish, meat, or vegetarian.

o You speak and understand English well.
What does the company offer?
a. Salary based on 38 hours between €3000-€3400 per month because we are looking for really good, professional employees.
b. Accommodation in a neat caravan on our premises (with approximately €100/month as compensation for electricity), use of the campsite toilet block.
c. One meal per working day included, usually around 16:30. (depending on shift)
d. Contract duration min. 6 months, but with the explicit intention to extend if mutually agreed.
e. If not staying on our premises, a commuting allowance of €0.23/km applies.
f. Other contract details based on the Horeca CAO (i.e. including pension accrual, annual increases, etc.)
g. Finally, we can help with relocation costs and provide compensation for this after, for example, 1 month of work and intentions to continue working together.
