It is an international shared service center, providing efficient and reliable IT services and support to the Vattenfall Group.
We are now looking for a Service Manager Collaboration who will be responsible for an internally provided set of services and who is eager to increase the customer satisfaction at the same time. The Service Manager is first point of contact for the business and other important stakeholders in this specific area. The team consists of 12 Service Managers in total, divided over several countries (so you will be working in a virtual team). Each team member is responsible for a specific set of services.
What are you going to do
As Service Manager for Collaboration you are end-to-end responsible for providing collaboration services, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Office 365), to Vattenfall colleagues in all countries. You are frequently in contact with representatives of several business areas to be able to determine the quality of the current service and to align the requirements for the future of the service. Reviews of the service are being led by the Service Manager using continual service improvement processes – providing a clear and aligned service roadmap (including review, and possible integration, of related non-standard deliveries). As we intend to build up a strong and diverse team the division of service responsibilities can change over time and require a broad service management understanding overall.
More responsibilities:
• Ensure efficient and transparent financial management of the service, including setup of structures/keys for cost build-up
• Ensure that all service models and service solutions designs conform to strategic architectural, governance and other corporate requirements
• Ensure that improvement initiatives identified in service reviews are acted on and progress reports are provided to customers
• Being the escalation gateway from the customer to supply and vice versa

Among your personal qualifications we want you to be exact and have an internal capacity to move things forward, easy to cooperate with, good communication skills and we would like you to have at least the below listed experiences:
• 10 years of experience in IT and general knowledge of current IT and collaboration technology.
• 5 years of experience in Project Management or similar experience with strong customer focus;
• Detailed knowledge about the Microsoft office suite offerings on-promise/cloud in terms of functionality, licensing, integration and system architecture;
• Experience in Mobile Workplace solutions and new ways of digital collaboration (e.g. BYOD)
• Ability to design and deliver presentations to all levels of an organization;
• Experience in the full technology service lifecycle along with strong financial management knowledge to monitor and manage technology services expenditure;
• Experience in shaping, delivering and improving service design, transition and delivery;

• Support and maintain applications, analyse and solves incidents and problems, support key users
• Configure the application and the environment so that the system design is durable and meets the business requirements
• Work closely with the Wind business unit directly and in project teams
• Carry out and document tests (unit, system, regression and integration tests), support in acceptance testing
• Follow developments in the Wind/IT sector, identify potential improvements in functionalities, performance and processes.

The Faculty
The Faculty of Technology and Society (TS) offers educations and research in computer science and media technology as well as engineering, natural sciences and applied mathematics. A characteristic of our research and teaching is the engagement of companies and other organizations as active participants. The faculty is located in Malmö city close to the Malmö central station.
The Department
The Department of Materials Science and Applied Mathematics unite interdisciplinary education and research in mainly three areas: engineering, natural science and mathematics. Three engineering programmes at bachelor level are offered: Building Engineering, Mechanical and Materials Engineering and Product Development and Design. In addition, the Science and Technology Foundation Year programme is offered. A programme on master level, Computational Materials Science, will be offered from autumn 2019.
The Department of Materials Science and Applied Mathematics offers an active and international environment. Research at the department is conducted in three groups; materials science, applied physics and mathematics, and construction science. Major areas of investigation are hydrogen embrittlement of metals, development of microstructures in metallic materials, computational and experimental atomic physics, astrophysics, applied mathematics and sustainable construction. The research in materials science is mainly focused on development of physically based material models using density functional theory, quantum chemistry, molecular dynamics, phase field theory and continuum mechanics, and related computational methods. The results from calculations and simulations of material behaviour are validated against experimental data, and the research group in materials science is actively engaged as users of X-ray and neutron diffraction techniques at international research facilities.

Job description
The job as a professor includes taking a leading role in both research and education at the department and to contribute in the development of research and education at the department and strategic objectives at the university. This includes identifying strategic research fields, attracting research funding, developing research environments involving highly qualified researchers, promoting research collaborations at the department, faculty and university as well as externally, and contributing to a developing work environment. The university has identified that the new X-ray and neutron facilities under construction in Lund offers unique research possibilities and one specific task would be to explore their potential within the materials science context. The work includes education at all levels, supervision of doctoral students and research.

The Institute for Urban Research is a newly established (2018) university-wide research centre that brings together all urban research at Malmö University. The IUR is the first institute for urban research in the Oresound region – the region with one of the highest urban growth rates in Europe.

About the postdoctoral positions
The postdoc positions are for 2 years and will mainly involve research within the field of urban research. The postdocs will be involved in all aspects of the research process, including project planning, research design, empirical analysis, presentation of findings at conferences, and preparation of manuscripts for submission to leading peer-reviewed journals. The postdocs will spend up to 20 percent of their time on management and administration of the Institute for Urban Research. The postdocs will also actively participate in the activities of the Institute for Urban Research such as seminars and workshops.
Qualifications
Candidates should have obtained a PhD, or an international degree deemed equivalent to a PhD, within the subject of urban studies or any related field (for example geography, planning, political science, sociology, economics, architecture, history, design and other related disciplines). The PhD should be completed no more than three years before the last date for application.
Selection criteria
This is a career development position primarily focused on research. The position is intended to be an initial career step, and the assessment of the applicants will primarily be based on their research qualifications and potential as researchers.
