Job description As an RF AIT Technician , you are part of the Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT) flow that turns designs into flight-ready hardware. You combine hands-on work with structured preparation and documentation, ensuring satellite hardware is built correctly, integrated smoothly, and verified against requirements. You will plan and prepare AIT activities, make sure tooling and parts are available, assemble and integrate hardware using drawings and schematics, and execute functional/performance tests. When something doesn't behave as expected, you troubleshoot, document, and work closely with engineers to solve issues quickly and properly. What you will do Your work typically covers four areas: Planning & preparation - Define the right sequence of AIT tasks and set daily/weekly priorities. - Estimate lead times and required effort (man-hours), and translate this into practical work plans. - Identify required parts, materials and outsourcing needs; request quotes where needed. - Order parts and reserve materials/tools via the technical warehouse. Manufacturing, assembly, integration & testing - Build, assemble and integrate satellite (sub)systems based on drawings, schematics and procedures. - Integrate subsystems into higher-level configurations and check mechanical/electrical compatibility. - Execute functional and performance tests using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters and relevant test benches. - Troubleshoot anomalies, record results, and coordinate fixes together with engineers.
