Europass and EURAXESS are joining forces to offer researchers a smoother and smarter experience across both platforms. From 11 December 2025, EURAXESS users can import the information already stored in Europass into their EURAXESS profile with just a few clicks.  

This update represents an important advance in the effort to modernise and integrate European digital services for careers and mobility in research. By linking their profiles, researchers will enjoy a fully interconnected experience between the two platforms, reducing the duplication of effort and ensuring their skills and experiences are presented in an efficient and transparent way.  

Researchers at all career stages have now the possibility to take full advantage of the features offered by Europass while seamlessly exploring EURAXESS opportunities and services. Together, the platforms will allow researchers to: 

• Create and update their Europass profile, CV, and cover letter in multiple languages;
• Present their experiences, qualifications, publications and skills in a structured way thanks to Europass digital tools;
• Make use of both platforms’ career-building tools that support skills development, entrepreneurship, lifelong learning and diverse career journeys.
• Browse thousands of research positions, grants, and funding opportunities available on EURAXESS.
• Rely on mobility support from a network of 650+ EURAXESS service centres in 43 countries, offering guidance on visas, social security, accommodation, local conditions, and more.
• Benefit from a strong collaboration network linking researchers with institutions, innovators, and partners across borders.   

Sharing a Europass profile with EURAXESS increases visibility for researchers seeking new opportunities. At the same time, research organisations can more easily identify talent and connect with international candidates. 

This collaboration between Europass and EURAXESS highlights a shared commitment to building a simpler and interconnected EU digital offer for researchers. It sets out the foundations for future connections with other EU initiatives, ensuring citizens across Europe benefit from well-integrated and efficient digital services.
