Stipendiat innen kunstig intelligens (KI) og klinisk beslutningsstøtte med fokus på kreftomsorg

Om stillingen

Universitetet i Stavanger har ledig stilling som stipendiat i kunstig intelligens og klinisk beslutningsstøtte med fokus på kreftomsorg ved Det helsevitenskapelige fakultet, Avdeling for omsorg og etikk. Stillingen er ledig fra 1.september 2026.

Dette er en utdanningsstilling som i hovedsak skal gi lovende forskere anledning til faglig utvikling gjennom en forskerutdanning. 

Den som ansettes vil bli tatt opp på doktorgradsprogrammet i Helse og medisin. Programmet omfatter relevante kurs i et omfang som tilsvarer omkring et halvt års studium, en avhandling basert på selvstendig forskning, deltakelse i nasjonale og internasjonale forskermiljø, relevant forskningsformidling, prøveforelesning og disputas. Stipendiaten ansettes for en periode på tre år med ren forskerutdanning eller fire år med forskerutdanning og annet karrierefremmende arbeid. Dette blir avklart i rekrutteringsprosessen.

Det vil bli utarbeidet en karriereplan som spesifiserer  den kompetanse som stipendiaten skal opparbeide seg. Det gis tilgang til karriereveiledning gjennom doktorgradsutdanningen.


Forskningstema

Den som ansattes vil være knyttet til følgende forskningstematikk: Kunstig intelligens (KI) og klinisk beslutningsstøtte med fokus på kreftomsorg.

Stillingen har som formål å undersøke hvordan KI tas i bruk som beslutningsstøtte i klinisk praksis innen kreftomsorgen. Prosjektet retter særlig oppmerksomhet mot hvordan helsepersonell forstår, vurderer og forbereder seg på KI-baserte verktøy, samt hvilke faglige, organisatoriske og etiske utfordringer som kan oppstå i kliniske beslutningsprosesser.

Doktorgradsprosjektet kan omfatte kvalitative studier av helsepersonells erfaringer med KI, for eksempel gjennom intervjuer, observasjoner og etiske refleksjonsprosesser i kliniske miljøer. Et sentralt mål er å utvikle kunnskap om hvordan KI-baserte beslutningsstøttesystemer kan implementeres på en etisk og ansvarlig måte som ivaretar pasientsikkerhet, klinisk kvalitet og helsepersonells profesjonelle ansvar i en stadig mer digitalisert helsetjeneste.

Den som ansettes får mulighet til å delta aktivt i et forskingsmiljø som blant annet setter søkelys på Etiske løsninger i digitale helse- og omsorgstjenester (e-DigiCare) og Helsetjenesteutvikling i kreftomsorgen (CARE – Cancer Health Services Research).

Prosjektet vil utføres i samarbeid med Stavangers Universitetssjukehus og Universitetet i Stavanger. 


Prosjektskisse

Som søker må du utarbeide en foreløpig prosjektskisse for et doktorgradsprosjekt innenfor forskningstemaet der det gjøres rede for problemstilling, relevans, teoretisk- og metodisk tilnærming. Prosjektskissen bør være på maks 5 sider, og vil inngå i kompetansevurderingen.

I løpet av de tre første månedene av ansettelsesperioden vil prosjektskissen og fremdriftsplan bli videreutviklet i samarbeid med veilederne og utformet til den endelige planen for ph.d.-prosjektet. Mal for prosjektskisse finner du her.


Kvalifikasjoner

Du må ha en sterk faglig bakgrunn med femårig mastergrad innenfor helsefag eller tilsvarende utdanning som gir grunnlag for å gjennomføre en forskerutdanning, fortrinnsvis av nyere dato.

Dersom du har utdannelse fra en institusjon med annen karakterskala enn A-F ber vi deg om å legge ved en bekreftet konverteringsskala som viser hvordan karakterene kan sammenliknes med den norske A-F skalaen. Du kan bruke disse konverteringsskalaene til å beregne poengene dine for opptak.

Du må ha god kjennskap til norsk helsevesen, og gode kommunikasjonsferdigheter i et skandinavisk språk, både skriftlig og muntlig.

  • har innsikt i digitale helsetjenester
  • er motivert, og har potensial for forskning innenfor fagfeltet
  • har faglige og personlige forutsetninger for å gjennomføre doktorgradsutdanningen innen ansettelsesperioden
  • kan arbeide selvstendig og i et fellesskap, være nytenkende og kreativ
  • er strukturert og har stor arbeidskapasitet
  • har gode ferdigheter i engelsk, både skriftlig og muntlig

The PMO Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining structured project management, governance and reporting for tax initiatives, while navigating a diverse and complex stakeholder environment (Quality and Risk Management, IT, Operations, Business, and Sub-Service Lines). The PMO Manager will act as a central coordination point, helping tax leadership translate strategic objectives into prioritized projects, tracking delivery against commitments, and supporting decision-making through high-quality analysis and communication. Support the design and ongoing management of the tax projects (e.g., compliance, reporting, data, technology, processes, etc) and drive consistent project lifecycle management from initiation to closure. 2. Support the prioritization and sequencing of tax initiatives, balancing regulatory deadlines, business needs, capacity and budget constraints. 3. Support tax leadership in operating a robust governance framework: steering committees, working groups, and decision forums. 4. Prepare high-quality, concise materials for steering committees, senior management, and other governance forums (status updates, dashboards, decision papers). 5. Operate as a central point of contact and coordination between Tax, Finance, IT, HR, Legal, Operations, Shared Services and external advisors for transformation initiatives. 6. Facilitate alignment across stakeholders, proactively resolving conflicts, clarifying responsibilities, and addressing competing priorities. 7. Track and challenge assumptions that may impact project outcomes, timelines, or benefits, especially where multiple stakeholder groups are involved. 8. Collaborate with Tax, HR, and other stakeholders to develop training, communications, and change plans to support adoption of new tax processes, systems, or regulatory requirements. 9. Support lessons-learned reviews and embed improvements into future tax projects and PMO practices. Your skills Must Have 1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Tax, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2. Proven experience in a PMO, project, or program management role. Ideally hold a professional qualifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile/Scrum) or demonstrable equivalent experience. 3. Demonstrated ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments with multiple senior leaders, and functions. 4. Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills; comfortable challenging and engaging senior stakeholders. 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights. 6. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including preparation of concise, high-impact presentations and dashboards for leadership. 7. Strong command of common PMO and productivity tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, project/portfolio tools such as MS Project, Planner, JIRA, or similar). Nice to Have 1. Experience working within Big 4/consulting environment, or a complex multinational organization is a plus. 2. Professional qualifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile/Scrum) or demonstrable equivalent experience. 3. Experience supporting transformation or change programs with significant technology, data, or process components. 4. Resilient, calm under pressure, and comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments. 5.
