About the job
As a Team Leader at IKEA Linköping you are offered a role with a big responsibility – both when it comes to our co-workers, customers and our store in general. You get daily inspiration from the IKEA values and develop your co-workers by being a present leader. You hold the ownership of the Kitchen Department and work operative together with two other Team Leaders and lead the department co-workers, along with the Shopkeeper.
About the assignment
As a Team Leader you will:
- be leading the daily operation at the department (optimizing staff, recruiting, lead and
secure IKEAs ways of working and routines).
- be planning, realize and follow-up on job-chats, wage discussions and other running
HR-related matters
- support, challenge and coach your team to secure they have the best possible
prerequisites to maximize our sales
- be collaborating with different units/functions within the store to meet the customers
needs, exceed their expectations and at the same time minimize our costs.
- together with your colleagues within the Sales Department you’ll actively see to
reaching the departments goals
- constantly develop our sales- and customer focus strategies
