Job description
We look to hire a candidate holding a PhD in Robotics. The candidates are expected to conduct research and research-based teaching in areas such as:

  • Embodied affective robotics
  • Context comprehension for robotics
  • Agentic control architectures for robotics
  • Human-Robot Interaction
  • Computer Science
A good approximation of the area of interest is the scope of conferences and journals such as IROS, RO-MAN, Ubiquitous Robotics (UR), and Transactions on Affective Computing.

The ideal candidate should document:

  • Competence in developing and conducting teaching that is both effective and well received by students.
  • Competence in conducting high quality academic research, reflected in demonstratable outputs.
  • Experience in engaging and collaborating with academics, industry, public sector, etc.
  • Strong cooperation skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Contributions to the goals of the institutions in which they have worked as well as to the research community, for example participation in committees, etc.
In addition, candidates for the position should be able to:

  • Attract external research funding
  • Supervise PhD students
  • Read/speak a Scandinavian language (or have the willingness to learn Danish)
The selected applicant will join REAL research group at Data, Systems, and Robotics (DSAR) section at ITU. DSAR section conducts research in various aspects of infrastructure for data science, scalable and efficient systems supporting the data lifecycle, meta-science, artificial intelligence, robotics, and evolutionary computation, as well as a range of applications. Its faculty is responsible for many courses in the ITU BSc programs for Software Development and Data Science, and MSc programs for Computer Science, Data Science, and Software Design. The selected applicant is expected to teach in one or more of these programs.

  • Documentation of university pedagogy training, and your teaching philosophy statement along with a teaching record relevant to the position. The teaching record should (at least for each course) include your official responsibility, the size of the course, the academic level, how many times a course has been taught, and the number of students. Include max. 5 course descriptions to document the experience.
  • A record of contributing to the goals of the institutions in which the candidate has worked, for example participation in committees, etc.

Your tasks We are looking for a Technical Product Owner with a strong technical mindset to drive the evolution of our Z1 Appliance – the virtual foundation for our server-based security products and services. The Z1 Appliance is a core part of our B2B offering: Historically based on Debian Linux, it is now evolving into a modern container-based platform - As the central interface between development and business teams, you gather requirements from stakeholders and the market and translate them into clear project specifications - In alignment with our company goals and in close collaboration with the business teams, you develop and own the vision and roadmap for your platform components - You break down complex feature ideas into epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria - You keep the backlog consistently up to date and well prioritized for your development team - To ensure strong usability, you create lightweight mockups yourself and coordinate mockups and prototypes for larger features with our UI/UX designers - You conduct market and competitive analyses to support the platform strategy - You maintain technology partnerships with virtualization and cloud infrastructure providers and build new collaborations Your profile - You have at least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar role within an agile team - You bring a strong technical understanding - Writing epics, user stories, and bug reports comes naturally to you - You are familiar with Debian Linux as well as modern technologies such as microservices, container technologies (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructures - Concepts such as clustering, load balancing, multi-tenancy, storage services, and high availability are not new to you - Very good English skills (at least C1) enable smooth collaboration in international teams    Nice to Have: - Understanding of the design and operation of SaaS infrastructures - Hands-on experience with UX mockup tools such as Figma or Adobe XD - German language skills We offer: - Flexible hours and home office options - Mobility: free Germany-wide public transport ticket, bike leasing, or parking - Subsidies for meals: (e.g., delivery services) and home office internet - Urban Sports Club membership for flexible fitness and wellness - Office perks: rooftop terraces & green courtyard, organic fruit and drinks, personal packages accepted at the office - Get-togethers: monthly Pizza Friday, regular team events, big summer party - Responsible leadership: structured onboarding, regular feedback, clear goals - Innovative without startup risk: profitable for 20+ years, self-funded innovation with strong global potential - International team: 120+ colleagues from 30+ countries, open and collaborative culture If that resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you. Sr. Test Automation Engineer (f/m/d) at an established IT-Security Company Join us as a Senior Test Automation Engineer and be the driving force behind a flawless software.
