We are looking for an experienced hands-on startup coach, who would love the opportunity to help drive our ambitious new team development project forward.
As Project Coordinator & Startup Coach at DTU Skylab, you will be the focal point of our TEAM Model-project, a strategic project looking to develop the way we support the creation of strong teams in the many startups incorporating out of DTU every year. Your job has many facets, but it will be focused on providing structure, facilitating overall progress and secure ongoing documentation of this important project from start to finish together with other key stakeholders. In addition to your project related role, you will be asked to use your experience and insights as a Startup Coach a couple of days a week, allowing you to practice what you preach and feed firsthand data and experiences directly back into the project.
It is a fixed-term position that expires in August 2027.
You will find yourself engaged in discussions about how to turn research insights about team formation, team dynamics and team development into experiments with DTU startup teams. You will drive experiments using your entrepreneurial know-how and coaching skills and document the results, provide recommendations for the ongoing model development and much more.
You will do this together with the projects core group of contributors from DTU Skylab and DTU Entrepreneurship, your fellow Startup Coaches as well as participating startup teams, and you should also expect to interface with other relevant stakeholders across the DTU innovation ecosystem.
As our new Project Coordinator & Startup Coach, you will:
- own the project plan for the TEAM Model project, tracking of progress and documentation of all work.
- contribute to the development of training concepts and materials.
- facilitate the planning and execution of agreed experiments.
- coach participating startup teams and other teams in DTU Skylab.
- organize meetings, capture meetings and keep stakeholders in the loop.
be a visible, vocal and positive ambassador for the project.
We are looking for a new colleague with:
- an entrepreneurial mindset.
- a minimum of 5 years of experience working with startups and the people that make or break them.
- a strong project management toolbox, you know how to use.
- solid experience in developing and facilitating startup workshops and/or courses.
- a strong team player attitude while at the same time being results-oriented and self-motivated.
- a clear preference for working in an environment of teamwork and collaboration across disciplines.
- big ambitions for yourself and the impact you’re hoping to create together with your future colleagues.
- preferably a relevant academic degree.
- excellent communication skills in both Danish and English.

Terms of employment
Salary and employment terms are according to the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC) or other relevant collective agreements.
Preferably the starting date would be 1 April 2026.
You will be employed at DTU Skylab, and the workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus, Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark.
The role as Project Coordinator & Startup Coach is part of a larger section of around 25 colleagues in total, supporting business development across both students and researchers. You will refer to Team Lead & Startup Coach, Jonas Eliasson.
