In alignment with the European Commission’s open-source strategy, the Qualification Dataset Register (QDR) is now officially available as an open-source project on code.europa.eu.

Europass, with its wide set of online tools and information to help its users in their lifelong learning and career management, provides interesting possibilities not only for its end-users, but also for guidance and career counseling.

Today, 1 July 2025, Europass celebrates an important milestone: the 20th Anniversary of this EU initiative, supporting job seekers, workers, learners and volunteers across Europe to understand and showcase their skills and qualifications in a transparent way.

The European Digital Credentials for Learning (EDC) are transforming the way qualifications and learning achievements are documented, awarded, shared, and verified across Europe. As an EDC implementer, your organisation, institution or project plays a crucial role in driving this change. To showcase your experience and achievements, we invite you to share your journey with the wider EDC and ELM community.

Europass and EURES are strengthening their connection, bringing jobseekers registered on Europass even closer to new opportunities! As of 31 March 2025, jobseeker accounts and the CV builder will no longer be available on the EURES portal. EURES job seekers were invited to transfer their CVs to Europass or to renew their profiles directly in Europass and seamlessly share them with EURES.
