The position focuses on developing Python and C# libraries for research in architecture, civil engineering and extended reality (XR), building on the open-source COMPAS XR framework developed at ETH Zürich. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of computational design, XR, human-computer interaction, and robotic fabrication, with a strong emphasis on creating robust, reusable software foundations for research and prototyping across platforms. The candidate will also join the ‘XR team’ to advance XR technology in Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) for net-zero carbon infrastructure.
