Launch of the European Learning Model Data Model Browser
Last week the European Commission launched the European Learning Model (ELM) Data Model Browser. This tool allows you to easily navigate and explore the different elements of the ELM and the connections between its over 480 properties. The data model allows for the description of all data related to learning, including formal, non-formal and informal learning.
Europass Celebrates 3 years and over 5 million users
Europass, a leading EU platform that supports learning and career management of users through its digital tools has reached an impressive milestone surpassing 5 million registered users. Apart from this achievement, Europass has also launched a new tool called the “Job and Skill Trends” in the context of the European Year of Skills.
The Qualification Dataset Register (QDR) serves as a central portal for qualifications, learning opportunities and accreditations. It enables different governmental institutions and awarding bodies to publish their information to the European infrastructure.
National authorities can prepare and publish qualifications, learning opportunities, and information on accreditations through QDR platform. The QDR is a tool developed by the Commission to support national authorities to publish their data as ‘linked open data’ which can be published, connected, and used more easily.
