What we need The welder has multiple years experience in thinwalled stainless steel TIG welding. During a practical welding test two butt welds (BW) and four fillet welds (FW) will performed, joining a total of five DN50 pipe sections with a wall thickness of 2 mm. Our client maintains very high quality standards and is seeking a skilled TIG welder with proven experience in welding thin-walled stainless steel piping (1.5–2.5 mm). Their production focuses primarily on double-walled piping systems, likely intended for cooling or condensation applications. Approximately 90% of all welds involve thin-walled pipes. The main tasks include setting up, operating, and monitoring the CNC machine, machining metal components (mainly steel and stainless steel) according to technical drawings and tolerances, and performing quality checks using standard measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.). The operator will be responsible for changing tools, loading and adjusting programs in the Fanuc control when necessary, and reporting any deviations or technical issues to the supervisor.
