GNSS reflectometry methods rely on the use of GNSS signals for remote sensing of the Earth’s surface, using both ground- and satellite-based techniques. Data from regional and global ground networks, specialised flight experiments, and low-Earth-orbit satellite missions (e.g., CYGNSS, HydroGNSS) are processed and widely used in Earth System science. The advertised position focuses on developing and applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning methods for GNSS reflectometry over land, particularly for the retrieval and analysis of soil moisture and related land-surface variables. It combines current and innovative research tasks with operational aspects in an international environment involving interdisciplinary partner institutions. The successful candidate will join the GNSS remote sensing team of section 1.1 for a fixed term of one year. Stable isotope analysis of individual organic molecules is typically performed by gas chromatographic separation, followed by combustion and mass spectrometry of the resulting gases, where one isotope system is analysed at a time. In this project, the candidate will use high-resolution mass spectrometry to study the compound-specific stable oxygen isotopic composition (d18O) of isolated lipids and to assess the practicality of simultaneously analysing the stable isotope composition of multiple element systems (carbon, oxygen, hydrogen). While a first instrumental method has been established, the candidate will start by refining/improving the latter in parallel to extensive validation of wet-chemical workup procedures. This is followed by application to lake and marine sediments to evaluate fatty acid d18O patterns across climate transitions and to systematically assess lipid d18O information in the context of vital effects. The project requires a keen interest in both mass spectrometry and paleoclimatology. Heb jij genoten van een opleiding sanitair of HVAC op zoek naar een  job als technieker?

Als bouwbedrijf zijn wij dringend opzoek naar hulpmonteur sanitair en CV ter ondersteuning van de collega hoofdmonteur.
Klanten kunnen bij ons terecht voor uiteenlopende HVAC-projecten op industrieel niveau.
Zo staan wij, buiten verwarming, ook in voor airconditioning, ventilatie, sanitair en duurzame energie.

Je staat samen met je collega voornamelijk in voor B2B-projecten, zoals industriële en commerciële panden en appartementsgebouwen.

Wat kan er aan bod komen?

  • Uitbreken en trekken van leidingen
  • Installeren van sanitaire toestellen
  • Montage van ventilatiesystemen
  • Plaatsen van brandleidingen

Voor deze functie zoeken we iemand met een opleiding als loodgieter en de kneepjes van het vak wil leren.
Overuren vormen voor jou geen probleem en je bent in het bezit van een rijbewijs B, zodat je indien nodig ook kan rijden.

Je spreekt dagelijks af aan één van onze oppikpunten in Gierle, Lille of Zoersel, van waaruit je samen met het team vertrekt naar werven gelegen tussen Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, Laakdal en Boechout.
Afhankelijk van de planning starten de werkuren tussen 6u en 7u ’s ochtends en werk je tot ongeveer 15u30 op de werf.
Verplaatsingen worden vergoed via mobiliteit en overuren worden steeds correct uitbetaald.

Je ontvangt een loon volgens het barema binnen PC 124, afhankelijk van je ervaring, aangevuld met maaltijdcheques.
