Introduction
At Ekwip, our goal is simple: help local retail thrive internationally.
A sports shop in Namur, a bookshop in Ghent or a pet store in Rotterdam may have 20–40% of its inventory sitting unsold, tying up cash and losing value. Ekwip takes care of this stock from end to end and sells it online across Europe through major marketplaces.
Retailers keep their store, identity and existing operations without having to become e-commerce experts.
The model is proven: steady monthly growth, no customer churn since launch and partnerships underway with major distributors. After a strong start in French-speaking Belgium, Ekwip is now expanding into Flanders and the Netherlands.
The pitch takes 90 seconds and the sales cycle is measured in days, not quarters. With more than 150,000 independent retailers across Europe, the opportunity is to sign hundreds of customers every year.
About the Role
You will lead business development from A to Z, working directly with Ekwip’s three co-founders.
Independent and specialised retailers
- Identify and target retailers in sports, fashion, footwear, pet care, home, toys and books
- Build your own pipeline through cold calling, store visits, networking and trade fairs
- Manage qualification, negotiation and closing
- Organise your prospecting by region with a strong focus on efficiency and results
Distributors and industrial wholesalers
- Identify the most relevant partners
- Define the right approach and activate new opportunities
- Lead negotiations and close strategic agreements
- Develop partnerships where one agreement can unlock an entire network of stores
Market insights and performance
- Act as Ekwip’s eyes and ears in the market
- Share customer needs, recurring objections and local market practices
- Feed insights directly into the product roadmap
- Continuously manage your pipeline and performance
Growth opportunities
Ekwip’s medium-term ambition is to build a commercial team in each country, with Business Developers and Account Managers.
You will be the first building block of this structure. Strong performance can lead to a management role, where you will recruit, train and lead your own local sales team.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field
- Fluent Dutch is essential, as this is the main market to develop; French and English are needed
- A successful first experience in B2B sales, with proven results
- Valid driving licence
What we are looking for
- A true hunter mindset: you are comfortable with cold outreach and know how to build a pipeline from scratch
- Strong autonomy: you manage your territory like your own business
- Genuine curiosity for retail: you listen as much as you sell
- A structured and methodical approach to pipeline management
- The motivation to build in a fast-paced, demanding and pragmatic environment
- Experience in retail, SaaS or marketplaces is a strong advantage

- You can communicate in English or Dutch.
- You work accurately, care about quality and enjoy working in a team.
Experience with electric vehicles or an HEV2 certificate is an advantage, but not required. A strong technical mindset and willingness to learn are just as important.
Practical
- Day shift from Monday to Friday.
- Roadside assistance is mainly during working hours. If you are willing to help outside working hours when needed, this is a plus.
We're on the lookout for a Mid-Level AI Systems Engineer who bridges AI engineering and MLOps. Someone who loves getting hands-on with LLMs, agents, and RAG pipelines, and who cares just as much about what happens once a model reaches production as about building it in the first place. In this role, you'll design, build, deploy, and operate production-grade AI systems, with a strong focus on generative AI, LLM-based applications, and reliable machine learning operations. In practice your time is split roughly between 60-70% AI Engineering and 30-40% MLOps.
In this role you sit at the intersection of engineering and operations, working across teams and disciplines. You'll report to the Head of ML at Sagacify and collaborate with the wider Sagacify and Craftzing delivery organisation. A role that can naturally grow towards a Team Lead position over time.
What you'll do :
AI Engineering (60-70%)
- Orchestrate AI system components: LLMs, vector databases, APIs, orchestration layers, and user interfaces
- Develop autonomous agents and conversational systems that can plan actions and interact with external tools or APIs
- Build and optimise RAG pipelines connecting enterprise data sources to LLMs for grounded, contextualised, reliable answers
- Evaluate system quality through generative AI metrics, coherence tests, and production monitoring (latency, API costs, bias)
- Deploy and scale solutions with strong attention to latency, security, reliability and cost efficiency
- Keep an eye on the ecosystem for new models, frameworks and techniques, including open-source tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, Langfuse, etc.
- Perform prompt and context engineering to improve output quality, reduce hallucinations, and manage conversational state effectively
MLOps (30-40%)
- Build and maintain automation for model deployment, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- Continuously monitor model performance in production, including drift detection and quality metric tracking
- Manage updates of libraries, models, and related dependencies in production environments
- Ensure versioning, reproducibility and safe rollout of models and AI services
- Collaborate closely with ML engineers, developers, DevOps and infrastructure teams for smooth delivery
- Stay current with the latest MLOps practices, tools and platform components
You stay in the code, you stay curious about what happens after deployment, and you keep learning as you go.
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or related fields
- You have a solid understanding of LLM fundamentals: Transformers, attention mechanisms, generation parameters and fine-tuning approaches
- You have strong problem-solving ability and algorithmic creativity
- You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- You have a team spirit and enjoy collaborating across multiple roles
- You bring rigour, responsiveness and a good incident-handling mindset
- You're autonomous, curious, and quick to learn new tools
- You can communicate fluently in Dutch, English and French, or at least the first two languages
Don’t worry if you don’t tick every single box, what matters most is the right mindset and a drive to learn. If you think we’re a match, we’d love to hear from you.
