Om stillingen

Ved NMBU Veterinærhøgskolen, Seksjon for hestesjukdommer er det ledig et «hospital internship» innen hestesjukdommer. Stillingen er ledig fra 20 november 2026. Dette er en midlertidig opplæringsstilling av 24 måneders varighet.
Stillingen har et roterende opplæringsprogram med kliniske rotasjoner innen fagfeltene indremedisin, kirurgi, anestesi, radiologi og ortopedi de første 6 månedene av stillingen. 

Akuttmedisin vil prioriteres innen og på tvers av rotasjonene. De siste 18 månedene vil stillingen inngå i en tredelt turnus der hver tredje uke består av hvilende vakt etter arbeidstid og i helgene (i stedet for arbeid på dagtid). Bakvakt vil være tilgjengelig. Arbeid hver tredje helg må dermed påberegnes i denne perioden. I klinikken vil intern arbeide under veiledning i faggrupper. Intern vil være medansvarlig ved diagnostikk og behandling av pasienter, kommunikasjon med eiere samt klinisk undervisning av studenter.


Arbeidsoppgaver

  • Praktisk og teoretisk veiledning og undervisning av studenter i hestesjukdommer
  • Diagnostikk, behandling og oppfølging av pasienter
  • Veiledning, oppfølging og service til dyreeiere
  • Deltagelse i hospitalets vaktordning, med en bakvaktsordning (siste 18 måneder)
  • Mulighet for deltakelse i ambulatorisk vaktordning for hest

Kompetanse

Det kreves

  • Veterinærmedisinsk utdanning med norsk autorisasjon
  • God muntlig og skriftlig formuleringsevne på norsk eller et annet skandinavisk språk, samt engelsk
  • Førerkort klasse B
     

Ønskede kvalifikasjoner

  • Klinisk arbeidserfaring fra hestepraksis inkludert ambulant praksis. Erfaring over 4 år vil ikke bli tillagt vekt
