Qualifications: 2-3 years’ Plant Mechanic experience required. Mechanic Certification preferred but not essential. There are no minimum academic requirements. Further training will be provided on-the-job as required. General Duties / Responsibilities / Experience: To maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and service machinery and equipment used in quarries, quarrying and related activities To ensure that all plant machinery is operating efficiently and safely, to minimize downtime, and to support the overall productivity of the plant To perform regular maintenance checks on plant machinery, including mixers, conveyors, pumps, crushers, and batching systems. To conduct preventative maintenance tasks to extend the life of equipment and minimize breakdowns. To lubricate machinery, replace worn parts, and ensure all components are in good working condition.
