As an operator, you’ll work in the hub of an innovative recycling company that transforms old foam materials into new end products such as carpet underlays and insulation panels. The products are dismantled at other locations, and the recycled material is returned to the Alphen aan den Rijn site as large foam blocks (up to 5,500 kilos each). That’s where your work begins. You’ll be responsible for operating various machines in the production line, including the flake mill, mixing chamber, pouring cylinder, and laminating machine. You’ll feed the machines with recycled foam, set them correctly, and monitor the process closely. By following instructions accurately, you help ensure the quality of the final product. You’ll also handle the timely supply of raw materials and semi-finished products using a forklift. No forklift certificate yet? No problem, you can obtain it through Luba. The company works with two shifts, but you will only work the evening shift, from 15:00 to 00:00. As the company is growing rapidly, the work environment is dynamic and developing. The day shift currently consists of 15 employees, while the evening shift has just 3.
