Apeldoorn has big ambitions! Are you the procurement specialist who will play a key role in achieving them?
Context
Apeldoorn has ambitious plans in the areas of housing, business and sustainability. We aim to grow to at least 180,000 residents and continue to offer businesses the space to establish themselves and expand here. This means adding approximately 12,500 homes and over 80 hectares of industrial land. In addition, Apeldoorn aims to be climate-neutral by 2050, and there are major challenges relating to nature (compensation), nitrogen and the reception of refugees from Ukraine and asylum seekers that require solutions. The field of work is highly diverse and dynamic, and offers opportunities to make a real difference in realising the city's ambitions!
The Apeldoorn Land Agency, together with the Property Agency, has been incorporated into the Property and Land Department. Within the department, various colleagues work on a project basis on tasks that help shape the city's growth and future. Depending on the type of acquisition under consideration, you will work closely with, amongst others, project leaders, policy officers, area economists, lawyers, portfolio managers and technical advisers.
What are you going to do?
As an acquirer, you act as an expert, strategist or negotiator in support of, amongst other things, major area development projects. You will also play an active role in addressing issues relating to nitrogen and nature (compensation). You will advise clients (both civil servants and senior management) on the acquisition strategy and the steps involved in the purchase process. You will oversee this process from inception through to completion, whilst ensuring that the principles of our land policy are upheld.
