Responsibilities
- Support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations. - Lead the kitchen team in the Executive Chef's absence to ensure seamless service. - Train, coach and motivate junior chefs to maintain consistent standards. - Contribute to menu planning, seasonal dishes and continuous improvement. - Oversee food quality, presentation and efficient preparation. - Ensure compliance with hygiene, allergen and food safety procedures. - Manage ordering, stock levels, cost control and waste reduction. - Collaborate closely with Front of House teams to support guest satisfaction.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a hotel or high‑volume restaurant. - Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team. - Excellent understanding of food safety, hygiene and operational standards. - Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining quality. - Eligible to work in the Netherlands and fluent in English.
