The PE Sweden organization has the full responsibility for Platform Center Heavy Duty Engines, Transmission as well as Application Center Heavy Duty Europe. The organization takes the product ownership role and optimizes complete powertrain systems through usage of components tailored for each application. In Base Engine, we are product owners of and develop Base Engine component and systems throughout the complete product life cycle. We drive the co-operation with other PE sites and cross-functionally to secure technical roadmaps and platform development trough CAST. We do simulations, Noise and Vibration Harshness (NVH), engine design and geometrical architecture for customers within Powertrain as well as for other Volvo functions. Responsibilities / Main tasks As Group Manager you lead a team of highly skilled engineers working throughout the entire product life cycle. You are the leader of both the technology and the people in your team. The team, led by you, will perform geometrical architecture analysis support for all functions within PE and Electro-mobility and technical lead of selected projects within Base Engine. The Exhaust aftertreatment system (EATS) department is responsible for the global platform development of exhaust aftertreatment systems for Volvo Group’s different product around the world.
