Developing our work and processes to better meet the overall inventory targets and customer expectations, we are now initiating a new function within Global Inventory Management. As part of this new team, we are looking for a driven Global Inventory Planner and Purchaser with great communication skills to take part in developing our business and, at the same time, grow with it. The location for this position is Svedala, and travel is a natural part of your job.
Your mission – Make your mark on the supply chain structure by developing prosperous relationships with suppliers and optimize our supply chain
In this position, you are responsible for developing and executing supply plans for suppliers, monitoring and adjusting accordingly in order for us to reach the agreed targets. You closely monitor delayed material and notify managers and customers if delay sustains, and you monitor suppliers’ performance and drive the improvements to maintain good supplier relationships. Furthermore, you manage purchasing related Master Data maintenance, and you drive improvements that impact the customer service, inventory level and supplier performance. In this fast-changing organization, you have an excellent opportunity to impact our changes within the supply chain structure.
Your character – A team playing professional always striving for performance excellence
We are looking for someone with a degree in Logistics, Business Administration or Engineering, or equivalent knowledge gained through previous experience. To succeed in this position, you have a solid understanding of manufacturing and supply for the manufacturing industry. It is also advantageous if you have least two years’ experience in Inventory Management, as well as advanced skills in Excel. Additional knowledge in M3, S21, MS along with a NA or APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) certification is also a plus. As we operate locally but in an international setting, you need to communicate effectively in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
