Project Management Officer (PMO) Retail Transformation Programme (Freelance)
Role purpose: Provide PMO governance, planning, and reporting support for a retail transformation programme, ensuring delivery alignment across workstreams, stakeholders, and timelines. Core responsibilities - Maintain the integrated programme plan, milestones, dependencies, and critical path across multiple workstreams. - Run PMO governance: cadence of meetings, agendas, minutes, action logs, decision logs, and RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies). - Produce accurate status reporting (weekly/monthly) including progress, risks, budget tracking, and resource updates. - Support change control, scope management, and documentation standards for programme artifacts. - Coordinate stakeholder communications and ensure timely escalation of blockers. - Track benefits, KPIs, and delivery outcomes relevant to retail transformation (e.g., customer experience, store operations, omnichannel). Required skills and experience - Proven PMO experience on complex transformation programmes, ideally within retail or customer-facing operations. - Strong planning and tracking skills using programme/project tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Excel, PowerPoint). - Expertise in RAID management, governance frameworks, and executive-ready reporting. - Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate cross-functiona...
