1. Wie zijn we?

De UGent Volkssterrenwacht Armand Pien wordt uitgebaat door de vereniging VSRUG vzw (Vrienden van de Oude Sterrenwacht van de RUG). Een doelstelling van de vereniging is het promoten van wetenschappen verwant aan sterrenkunde, ruimtevaart en weerkunde. Naast onze werking naar het ruime publiek (voordrachten, cursussen, publieksavonden...) die voornamelijk ’s avonds en in het weekend plaatsvindt, en die gedragen wordt door een team van enthousiaste vrijwilligers, hebben wij ook een educatieve werking overdag: de klasbezoeken. Het doelpubliek omvat alle leeftijden vanaf 5 tot en met 18 jaar.

2. Wie zoeken we?

Een halftijdse (50%) educatieve medewerker

Taakomschrijving:

1. Klasbezoeken: lessen, rondleidingen en workshops voorbereiden, uitvoeren, en waar nodig bijsturen. Ook het creëren van nieuw educatief lesmateriaal behoort tot jouw kerntaak.

2. Ondersteunen van de andere activiteiten van de volkssterrenwacht bij speciale evenementen (zomerkamp in juli voor 10 tot 15-jarigen, nationale sterrenkijkdagen, dag van de wetenschap…).

3. Ondersteunen van de logistieke en administratieve taken in samenwerking met het personeelsteam.

4. Meehelpen met het updaten van externe/interne communicatie via verschillende kanalen: website, social media, nieuwsbrief, intern platform.

5. Ondersteunen van de promotie van onze educatieve activiteiten

6. Bijkomende taken zijn mogelijk naargelang ze zich voordoen.

1. Diploma Educatieve Bachelor Secundair Onderwijs of gelijkwaardig.

2. Vaardigheid in het maken van interactieve en inspirerende lessen/workshops voor een gevarieerd publiek. Gebruik van activerende werkvormen zijn in sommige pakketten een vereiste.

3. Sterke interesse hebben in sterrenkunde, weerkunde, ruimtevaart, milieuproblematiek en STEM-educatie. Voorkennis is een pluspunt, leergierigheid een vereiste.

4. Bereid zijn om met kinderen en jongeren van alle leeftijdsgroepen te werken.

5. Teamgericht, je houdt van samenwerken, maar je kan ook zelfstandig werken.

6. Zin voor creativiteit.

7. Kennis van basissoftware, je beschikt over voldoende ICT-vaardigheden

om nieuwe digitale systemen te leren en te gebruiken.

8. Occasionele bereidheid om aan te sluiten bij avondactiviteiten op de volkssterrenwacht.

9. Openstaan voor evaluaties door leraren en feedback vanuit de lerarenopleiding.

10. Vloeiend in Nederlands (spreken, lezen, schrijven).

Job description
The positions are funded by the project Algebraic Hardness and Applications (AHA), which is supported by the Carlsberg Foundation.

Who can apply? To be eligible to apply for these positions, applicants need to have or be about to obtain either a BSc or an MSc degree (or their equivalent qualifications) in computer science, mathematics, or a related field. The qualified candidates are expected to have a good background and passionate interest in mathematics and computer science, demonstrated by having credited relevant courses such as Complexity Theory, Advanced Algorithms, Probability Theory, Real and Complex Analysis, Calculus, and Combinatorics. Or they may be demonstrated by results at the Olympiads of Mathematics or Informatics, or by publication in relevant internationally recognized conferences or journals.

Applicants need to be motivated for doctoral studies; should possess the ability to self-organize tasks and perform critical analysis; and also have good levels of communicative abilities and English language skills. The working language of the group is English, and knowledge of English is also fully sufficient to navigate every-day life in Scandinavia in general.

These positions are available for period of 3-4 years, depending on the current education level of the applicant. The starting date is negotiable, but the default would be in August-September 2026. All PhD positions in the research group are fully funded, employed positions (including travel money) that come with an internationally competitive salary.

The Scientific Environment
The TCS section at ITU has a highly reputable research environment, with a strong presence at top-tier conferences like STOC, FOCS, and SODA. This project will additionally benefit from our close ties with the Basic Algorithms Research Copenhagen (BARC) centre (barc.ku.dk) set up at Copenhagen University. We are also well-connected with researchers at the University of Southern Denmark, Aarhus University, and Lund University. Between the Copenhagen University and IT University of Copenhagen, we host many visitors every month, run a lot of seminars and talks. Salary and terms of employment

Qualification Requirements

The following qualifications are required:

• 3-year programme: candidates should have an MSc (or equivalent)
• 4-year programme: candidates should have a BSc and one year of university studies on Master level

Post Doctoral Position in Alcohol Research 

The Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southern Denmark (SDU), Odense, invites applications for a position as postdoc within the research areas of at-risk alcohol use, older adults, clinical psychology, psychometrics, and epidemiology.

The Department of Psychology is a vibrant, inclusive workplace hosting an engaged group of faculty, postdocs and PhD students. The department has close collaborations with the Odense University Hospital, and its research covers a wide range of health-related topics and methodologies.

The position and the project

The postdoc position is for 31 months, starting on November 1^st, 2026 or soon thereafter. The focus of the position is on the psychometric evaluation of assessment instruments for at-risk alcohol use in adults aged 60-80 years and on a longitudinal epidemiological study of risk and protective factors within psychological models of the etiology of addiction in said age group. 

We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious candidate with a strong track record in peer-reviewed publications as well as in quantitative analysis within either psychometrics and/or epidemiology. The candidate should have a strong and documented interest in the areas: alcohol research, clinical psychology, quantitative methods, and assessment and etiology of at-risk alcohol use/alcohol use disorder, preferably in adults or older adults. The candidate should have documented experience with project organization. 

The successful candidate will work on the project “Understanding older adults’ risky alcohol use to inform targeted preventive interventions and strategies” funded by TrygFonden, Denmark. The successful candidate will join a research group with expertise in alcohol research, clinical psychology, and epidemiology, led by Associate Professor Silke Behrendt (Department of Psychology, University of Southern Denmark), and Professor Kristine Rømer Thomsen (Department of Psychology and Behavioural Sciences, Centre for Alcohol and Drug Research, Aarhus University). The primary place of work will be the Department of Psychology, University of Southern Denmark, Odense, Denmark.

Required qualifications

• PhD in clinical psychology, epidemiology, psychiatry or a connected field

• Excellent research track record, including at least three first-authored peer-reviewed publications relevant to the project and position.     

• Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills

• Willingness to collaborate with internal and external collaborators as well as support the project’s research group members

• Proficiency in spoken and written English

Sous la responsabilité de la cheffe de service, vous : - Encadrez un groupe de jeunes au sein d’un atelier créatif utilisant la médiation artistique comme support d’accompagnement. - Concevez et animez des activités artistiques et manuelles (arts plastiques, bricolage, création d’objets, recyclage créatif, projets collectifs). - Accompagné par les personnels du pôle ressources de l’établissement, utilisez ces activités pour développer notamment : - la motricité fine et la coordination, - l’attention, la persévérance et l’organisation, - les capacités sensorielles et l’autonomie dans l’activité. - Adaptez les supports, outils et consignes en fonction des capacités cognitives, motrices et sensorielles des jeunes. - Favorisez l’engagement dans l’activité, la capacité à aller au bout d’une tâche et la valorisation des productions. - Inscrivez l’atelier dans une dynamique pré-professionnelle (organisation du poste de travail, respect des consignes et du matériel). - Participez aux projets individualisés d’accompagnement et aux réunions de l’équipe pluridisciplinaire. - Contribuez aux projets institutionnels (décors, expositions, événements, projets artistiques collectifs). Compétences artistiques - Maîtrise de techniques artistiques variées (peinture, collage, assemblage, création d’objets, recyclage). - Capacité à proposer des activités adaptées à des jeunes aux profils hétérogènes. - Capacité à utiliser l’activité artistique comme médiateur pour développer motricité fine, organisation, autonomie et fonctions exécutives. Compétences éducatives et relationnelles - Posture éducative bienveillante et structurante. - Capacité à favoriser l’engagement, la confiance en soi et la valorisation des jeunes. Travail en équipe - Collaboration avec l’équipe pluridisciplinaire. - Participation aux réunions et rédaction d’observations ou bilans liés à l’activité.

Vos missions Sous la responsabilité d’un chef de service, vous : - accompagnez au quotidien un groupe restreint de jeunes, - soutenez leur autonomie, leur insertion professionnelle et sociale et leur développement personnel, - accompagnez l’inscription et la participation des jeunes aux dispositifs de droit commun (collège, lycée, activités culturelles et de loisirs, environnement de proximité…), - participez à la co‑construction des projets personnalisés, - instaurez un cadre éducatif sécurisant, bienveillant et cohérent, - travaillez en lien étroit avec l’équipe pluridisciplinaire (psychologue, maîtresse de maison, travailleurs sociaux, partenaires ASE, Pôle médico-éducatif…). Organisation : 35h hebdomadaires– week-ends et jour fériés travaillés selon roulement. 2 postes d'éducateurs sur les 13 seront en appui aux astreintes Profil recherché - Diplôme d'éducateur spécialisé requis. - Expérience en Protection de l’Enfance ou handicap souhaité. Sous l'autorité de la Cheffe de service, vous ferez partie d'une équipe pluridisciplinaire médico-sociale.Dans ce cadre, vous :Accompagnez les jeunes dans l'autonomie, la socialisation, le développement du langage, les activités et autres apprentissages divers. Vous interviendrez en séance collective et individuelle si besoin ;Apportez un éclairage dans votre domaine d'intervention et transmettrez vos outils aux équipes et aux familles ;Serez une personne ressource auprès de l'équipe, des familles et des partenaires, et contribuerez à l'expertise des besoins des jeunes selon les recommandations de la HAS ;Organisez des ateliers éducatifs favorisant l'accompagnement et la mise en œuvre du PPA des jeunes selon les approches adaptées ;Assurez la mise en œuvre du parcours personnalisé du jeune, en lien avec l'équipe pluridisciplinaire ;Participez aux réunions d'équipes, institutionnelles et faites partager votre expertise en vue d'une meilleure compréhension de l'autisme et de la situation des jeunes ;Utiliserez les outils informatiques mis à votre disposition pour vous informer, communiquer et écrire. Titulaire du Diplôme d'Etat Accompagnant éducatif et social (anciennement AMP).Vous avez une sensibilité particulière pour le public TSA et aimez apprendre de nouvelles approches. En collaboration étroite avec un enseignant Education nationale vos missions principales sont : -Accueillir et écouter les familles et les élèves à besoins éducatifs particuliers -Soutien aux professionnels de l'Education Nationale via une expertise conjointe des besoins- -Observations, évaluations des besoins identifiés et constructions de réponses adaptées favorisant l'accès aux apprentissages -Mise en réseau partenarial -Intervention auprès d'un élève de façon ponctuelle et limité -Accompagnement aux développements des pratiques, postures et gestes éducatifs des professionnels -Orientation des familles et des professionnels - Organisation d'action de sensibilisation et de formation - Formalisation de compte rendus des actions menées - Tenue d'un tableau de bord des sollicitations, des situations d'élèves, et des réponses apportées Vous serez encadré par une coordinatrice départementale de l'association sur votre périmètre d'intervention et sous la responsabilité hiérarchique de la responsable du SIAM 95 (lieu de rattachement de l'EMAS) -Un véhicule de service sera mis votre disposition en raison de déplacements fréquents. -Horaires de travail pouvant dépasser les horaires scolaires. - Poste sur le Bassin d'Argenteuil/Bezons Titulaire du DEES ou DEEJE, vous avez le sens de l'écoute et savez instaurer une relation de confiance. Vous êtes autonome, organisé et avez le sens de l'initiative. Vous connaissez les besoins éducatifs particuliers des élèves, des réponses à apporter, des outils et méthodes adaptées et avez une connaissance fine du maillage partenarial. Bien sûr vous maîtrisez les outils numériques ( tableurs et traitement de texte) et pouvez vous prévaloir idéalement d'une expérience de 3 ans
