Live Programmeur
Netherlands, AMSTERDAM
Live Programmeur Live Programmer A'DAM Tower, Amsterdam-Noord | Parttime Hi, I'm A'DAM. Overlooking the IJ, I rise above Amsterdam Central Station and the rest of the city. I'm a vertical city with music at my core: venues, food, hospitality, workspaces and experiences, all under one roof. My name is already firmly established in electronic music. My live music story, however, is still waiting to be written, and that's where you come in. What you'll do I have three venues that deserve their moment in the spotlight. Each has its own atmosphere and audience, and you'll decide what takes the stage. At the top sits The Loft, my penthouse venue on the 16th floor. With floor-to-ceiling windows, abundant natural light and views unlike anywhere else in Amsterdam, it hosts 12 to 20 shows per year. Most of these take place on Sundays, fitting in between major corporate events and electronic music nights. Your mission is to make The Loft as synonymous with live music as A'DAM is already with electronic music. Two floors higher you'll find The 360. Circular, intimate and welcoming, with a rooftop terrace offering panoramic views of Amsterdam. Here, you will programme approximately 24 shows annually, primarily on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Your goal: establish The 360 as Amsterdam's go-to venue for intimate concerts and release shows. And then there's Shelter, located at the very base of the tower. Normally known as my iconic nightclub, featuring a fully LED-lit ceiling and a Funktion-One sound system you can literally feel. Here, you will programme six live electronic performances per year on Thursdays, ensuring they align with Shelter's identity and audience. From discovering new talent to watching a sold-out crowd enjoy the show, you'll be responsible for the entire programming process. You'll scout artists, build relationships, negotiate deals and manage the calendar. At the same time, you'll be building a new live music...

This is not a pure technical role, nor a pure commercial one. You sit at the intersection. You are the first call for a Country Manager who needs to understand what's technically possible, the person they escalate to when a critical issue on site needs prioritising and pushing to resolution, and the internal advocate who ensures international business needs don't get lost in a backlog dominated by the Dutch core business. The technical delivery remains the responsibility within the existing delivery teams; however you play a crucial role in providing the requirements and help determine and set priorities. You report to the Director Monta Europe and work in close collaboration with the heads of IT Ops, IT Security, IT Dev, and IT Implementation. A significant part of your value is anticipation getting ahead of IT requirements for new and growing markets before they become blockers.
