In this role, you will be based in Luxembourg, working from RTL Group's “RTL City” office on Boulevard Pierre Frieden in the Kirchberg district. RTL Group S.A. is a Luxembourg-based international media company and one of eight divisions of Bertelsmann, playing a key role in the group's revenue and operating profit.
We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager (m/f/d)m (unlimited, full-time) Join our team at our location in Luxembourg - flexible working conditions available
As part of the establishment of our new banking business activities in Luxembourg, you as Senior Finance Manager will develop, build up and manage parts of our Finance structure.
You will work in close coordination with finance, treasury, risk management and compliance colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Regulatory Compliance & Monitoring: Track regulatory changes, assess impact, and safeguard compliance across processes
• Stakeholder Management: Act as main contact for regulators, auditors, merchants and internal departments
• Reporting & Oversight: Support required reportings, audits, monthly closing and ensure disclosure obligations are met
• Product/Service Development (new product process): Drive the establishment of our future products within the finance team
• Outscourcing activities: Manage finance related outscourcing activities
• Organizing board/shareholder meetings, committees incl. minutes
• Support payment processes and other operational finance tasks
• Support capital planning and other FP&A tasks
Qualifications:
• Completed Master's degree in business administration economics with a focus on banking or finance or similar
• Many years of professional experience in the field of finance of regulated companies
• Strong independent working style, above-average analytical thinking and a high level of business understanding with the ability to develop and implement strategies and concepts in a practice-oriented and independent manner
• Proven experience in project management is required, including the ability to plan, coordinate, and successfully deliver projects within defined scope, timeline, and budget
• Experience in the payment services industry is an advantage
• Fluent in English, German language skills are an advantage
