As part of LIST's SUSTAIN unit (Environmental Sustainability Assessment and Circularity), the Environmental Policies (EPS) group provides science-based input to the definition and implementation of environmental policies at national and EU level, in particular policies around chemical safety, circular (bio-)economy (e.g. in construction and textile), soil pollution, climate, and water efficiency, and feeds, at the interface of science, technologies and policies, the regulatory perspective into RDI projects around these topics. As member of the team, you will contribute to the circular transition to reduce the impacts caused by the extraction and consumption of raw materials and to adapt to a changing climate, to keep materials in their highest value use for as long as possible, to minimize and efficiently handle waste and to ensure high-quality re-use and recycled materials. You will focus on the policy perspective of the built environment and the construction sector, but activities can address also other waste streams. In particular, you will: · Contribute to the Interreg project PREUSE on the re-use of building materials, e.g. on assessing environmental and health impacts of re-use, preparation of tools and guidance, literature and data review, exchanges with national authorities and municipalities, etc. · Contribute to the work of the group with national public authorities around circular construction, in particular waste reduction and selective deconstruction in Luxembourg, e.g. on stakeholder surveys, definition of best practise, policy benchmarking, etc. · Contribute to the work with national stakeholders to adapt to climate change, e.g. on organising stakeholder exchanges and supporting the knowledge transfer from other EU regions, among others in the build environment. The PDR project will be carried out within the framework of a large public-private partnership (PPP) devoted to the development of new rubber technologies. The project is tailored around the development and interpretation of spatially resolved measurements of ingredients of interest such as additives in a highly complex polymer matrix. They are considered crucial in the rubber industry under specific mixing/curing conditions and can react with the polymer matrix and/or the filler surface. Mass Spectrometry (MS) coupled with chromatographic techniques (LC, GC, GPC), combined with advanced technologies such as MS imaging, will represent key aspects for achieving the project's objectives. The development of analytical strategies will be based in particular on existing (ESI, APCI) and emerging (plasma- or laser-assisted) ionization techniques. How will you contribute? In this role, you will be part of a multicultural and multidisciplinary team of highly skilled scientists and engineers. Electricians for Exciting Construction Projects in Bergen

Skuteviken Personell AS, together with our customers, has several exciting projects in Bergen and the surrounding area. We are now looking for skilled electricians to strengthen our team.

Typical work tasks include installation of electrical systems in new construction and rehabilitation projects for commercial buildings and apartment complexes. The work may also include maintenance, troubleshooting, and practical problem-solving on various types of projects.


We offer:

  • Competitive salary: NOK 295-350 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Requirements:

  • Certificate of apprenticeship as Electrician Group L (or equivalent qualification) is required

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an electrician

  • Experience from installation, service, or maintenance work is an advantage

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently

  • Scandinavian or English language skills are an advantage (professional competence is the most important factor)

Important information for foreign applicants:


Foreign applicants must have their electrical education approved by DSB (The Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection) before they can legally work on electrical installations in Norway.

We support our candidates throughout the DSB approval process and assist with the application procedure. Candidates are responsible for providing the necessary documentation required by the Norwegian authorities.

  • Work experience from Scandinavia

  • DSB approval already completed

  • Experience from construction projects and commercial buildings
