• Vega kommune, Visit Helgeland og Vega Næringsforening samarbeider om en mobil sommervertordning for ungdom i årets turistsesong. Visit Helgeland har det faglige ansvaret, mens Vega kommune har arbeidsgiveransvaret. 

   

• Som Vegavert er du ansiktet utad for Vega i sommersesongen. Du møter besøkende, svarer på spørsmål og hjelper dem med å få mest mulig ut av oppholdet sitt.

Arbeidsoppgaver:

• Være synlig og oppsøkende overfor gjester 
• Dele ut kart og informasjon om aktiviteter, åpningstider og arrangementer 
• Veilede om overnattingstilbud og lokale tjenester 
• Være til stede på sentrale steder som Gladstad, Sundsvoll, Verdensarvsenteret og ferja 
• Bidra som parkeringsvakt på Eidem ved behov (trafikkavvikling og informasjon om parkeringsavgift) 

Kvalifikasjoner

• Du må være over 16 år 
• Førerkort klasse B er en fordel (for søkere over 18 år) 
• God muntlig fremstillingsevne (norsk, gjerne også engelsk)

Vega kommune er en øykommune på kysten av Sør-Helgeland med ca. 1 200 innbyggere. På 6 500 øyer, holmer og skjær fordelt på 163,3 km2 har vi et yrende dyre- og fugleliv. Her ligger ett av Nord-Europas største gruntvannsområder. På grunnlag av dette har Vega en unik kulturarv med lange ærfugltradisjoner, som har gjort oss til ett av UNESCOS verdensarvsteder. Dette er en stor satsning for Vegasamfunnet, både nærings- og turistmessig, på kultursiden og på skolesiden og nytt verdensarvsenter ble åpnet i 2019. Kommunen har fotballhall, moderne treningssenter, fiber, ungdomsklubb, idrettslag, ungdomslag, hornmusikk, kor og skolekorps.I tillegg er det fine turmuligheter, med turløyper og Vegatrappa opp til fjellet Ravnfloget, samt Ravnfloget Via Ferrata.

Kommunikasjonsmessig er vi nært flyplass med direktefly til blant annet Oslo, Trondheim og Bodø. Hurtigbåten fra Vega til Brønnøysund tar 40 minutter, og fra kaia i Brønnøysund tar det 5 minutter til flyplassen. Vi har også hurtigbåt til Sandnessjøen som har flyplass i tillegg til sykehus.

Vi har behov for en jobbkonsulent i 100 % stilling på vår avdeling på Finnsnes. Stillingen er fast og knyttet til vårt tiltak Arbeidsforberedende trening (AFT).

Vi søker det som har relevant høyere utdanning, eksempelvis innen pedagogikk eller helse- og sosialfag, men også andre kompetanseområder kan bli vurdert som relevante. Det kan være en fordel med kompetanse fra vår bransje.
