Als assemblagemonteur monteer je zelfstandig -aan de hand van tekeningen- onderdelen en halffabricaten tot een eindproduct. Afhankelijke van het type eindproduct bouw je korte (twee uur) of langere tijd (enkele weken) aan een product.

In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het instellen, bedienen en onderhouden van moderne metaalbewerkingsmachines, zoals buizenlasers, hydraulische persen, platenlasers en kantbanken. Je speelt een rol in het productieproces en denkt actief mee over procesverbetering en kwaliteit.
