The project is tailored around the development and interpretation of spatially resolved measurements of ingredients of interest such as additives in a highly complex polymer matrix. They are considered crucial in the rubber industry under specific mixing/curing conditions and can react with the polymer matrix and/or the filler surface. Mass Spectrometry (MS) coupled with chromatographic techniques (LC, GC, GPC), combined with advanced technologies such as MS imaging, will represent key aspects for achieving the project's objectives. The development of analytical strategies will be based in particular on existing (ESI, APCI) and emerging (plasma- or laser-assisted) ionization techniques. How will you contribute? We are looking for a researcher with relevant experience in quantitative applications of the circular economy domain, in particular in circularity assessment. The successful candidate shall demonstrate strong expertise in circularity assessment methodologies and indicators, in particular in the development and application of advanced metrics (e.g. Material Circularity Indicator, Circularity Transition Indicators) for evaluating circular performance of products, processes and systems. Een van onze onderwijsgroepen is Sint Lucas Antwerpen, School of Arts. Een leer-en onderzoeksomgeving in een meerstemmige wereld. Binnen Sint Lucas Antwerpen kiezen we voor vernieuwend en uitdagend kunstonderwijs en artistiek onderzoek.

Voor onze studio Vrije Kunst en de werkplaatsen zoeken we een praktijkassistent (40%) die actief bijdraagt aan het onderwijs.

Wat is jouw rol?

Als praktijkassistent bij Sint Lucas Antwerpen werk je autonoom en toch in nauwe afstemming met het ganse studioteam, tekenen én theorie. Je werkt mee aan het groeiproces van onze studenten naar gedreven kunstenaars. Je denkt na over nieuwe inhouden en werkvormen, je coacht studenten in hun leerproces, laat hen leren via je feedback en evalueert hun groei. Je draagt bij aan het waarmaken van de visie (https://www.sintlucasantwerpen.be/missie-visie/) van Sint Lucas Antwerpen.

Wat doe je concreet?

  • Samen met je collega’s werk je aan de inhoud van het curriculum en de verdere uitbouw van de opleiding. Je gaat met hen in overleg over de studiospecifieke opdrachten en evaluatievormen.
  • Je begeleidt studenten vrije kunst bachelor 1 en 2 in hun atelier grafiek samen met een collega-praktijkassistent. (drie contacturen per week)
  • Daarnaast heb je werkplaatsbegeleiding:
    • Je biedt ondersteuning aan studenten in de werkplaats grafiek (148u in afspraak met collega’s in te plannen op jaarbasis)
    • Je biedt tijdens januari en de periode eind mei tot half juni ondersteuning bij de riso (148u geconcentreerd op een 7-tal weken)
  • Je leert grafische technieken in hoog-, diep- en vlakdruk aan waarbij we non-toxisch werken.
  • Je werkt lessen praktisch uit, ontwikkelt, begeleidt en evalueert leerprocessen.
  • Je biedt studenten ondersteuning bij het risoprinten.
  • Je zoekt actief naar methodieken om tegemoet te komen aan de diversiteit aan leerprofielen.
  • Je neemt je verantwoordelijkheid op in onderwijs- en organisatie-ondersteunende taken in functie van je talenten en interesses zoals deelname aan opendeurdagen, openlesdagen, tentoonstellingen enz.
  • Je werkt aan je eigen professionalisering, zowel vakinhoudelijk als pedagogisch-didactisch, en draagt actief bij aan de kennisontwikkeling binnen de onderwijsgroep Sint Lucas Antwerpen.
  • Je onderhoudt een effectief netwerk met vakgenoten uit de sector.
  • Je bent werkzaam op campus Sint Lucas Antwerpen. Je maakt deel uit van het team Vrije Kunst. Je rapporteert aan het opleidingshoofd Mie De Backer.

Wat is jouw profiel?

  • Je bent actief als kunstenaar en kan een portfolio voorleggen.
  • Je bent expert in de grafische technieken: hoog-, diep- en vlakdruk.
  • Je hebt ervaring met risoprinting of bent bereid je vóór de kerstvakantie voldoende in te werken om er zelfstandig mee aan de slag te kunnen.
  • Je interesse en/of kennis binnen het veld rijkt verder dan de westerse canon.
  • Je kan veranderingen binnen je expertisedomein integreren in de kunstpraktijk van de studenten en in onderzoek.
  • Je hebt goede contacten met collega’s en deskundigen in je werkveld en wil deze contacten ook inzetten voor de onderwijsgroep Sint Lucas Antwerpen.
  • Je kan je inleven in de leefwereld van studenten en kan met passie je kennis en inzichten delen. Je kan open en gerichte feedback geven.
  • Je kan ICT-toepassingen gebruiken in de uitvoering van je werk. Binnen Sint Lucas Antwerpen werkt het onderwijzend personeel met de courante MS-office programma’s, de digitale leeromgeving Canvas en het digitaal platform e-studentservice.
  • Je kan collega’s inspireren en motiveren. Binnen een team kan je samenwerking stimuleren.
  • Je behaalde een masterdiploma in de beeldende kunst. Een bijkomend pedagogisch diploma is een zeker pluspunt, alsook een doctoraatsdiploma.
  • Je beheerst het Nederlands op niveau B2 1(aantoonbaar met diploma of certificaat) of je engageert je om dit voor de start te behalen (geen zorgen, je krijgt hierbij van ons de nodige info en ondersteuning).
