Noora is a climate technology company committed to accelerating nature-based climate solutions. We help landowners realize the value of nature-based solutions—such as carbon and biodiversity projects—and we deliver credible, transparent climate action to organizations ready to take responsibility and create real impact. Our ambition is to scale the impact of Nordic forestry in global climate mitigation.
We are now strengthening our commercial team and are looking for a committed and experienced Commercial Director to help drive Noora’s commercial strategy and hands-on sales execution together with the rest of the Noora team.
The Role
As Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Noora’s go-to-market strategy. You will work closely with the CEO, the CCO, and our highly engaged team. Your scope will span both the sales of high-integrity carbon credits and marketing towards credit buyers as well as Noora’s partners in the forest industry.
This is a hands-on, growth-driven role where you will combine strategic direction with operational execution. As in most start-ups, you will be part of a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment with colleagues committed to creating positive impact and building a truly impactful company.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Commercial development
Drive sales of Noora’s nature-based solutions to corporate customers in the Nordics and internationally through prospecting, outreach, qualification and closing
Build and manage a healthy pipeline of prospects and long-term customer relationships.
Negotiate commercial agreements and secure deals aligned with Noora’s impact and revenue goals.
Contribute to shaping Noora’s overall GTM strategy, segmentation and prioritisation.
Support partner development, industry networking and early-stage market creation.
Help build a high-performing commercial team as Noora grows.
Marketing
Develop and drive Noora’s marketing strategy across digital, brand, and content.
Develop marketing activities that drive demand for high-integrity carbon credits and build trust with customers.
Build and execute awareness and engagement initiatives targeting forest owners.
Produce and coordinate content (web, social, case studies, thought leadership) that strengthens Noora’s positioning.
Ensure a consistent, credible brand presence built on our vision, mission and values across all channels.
Who We Are Looking For
You thrive in an early-stage, mission-driven environment and can move easily between strategy and hands-on execution.
We believe you have:
Experience in B2B sales, marketing or commercial leadership roles.
Proven track record of building pipelines and closing deals.
Strong marketing understanding (brand, digital, content, messaging).
Experience in climate, sustainability/ESG, carbon markets, forestry, or related areas is a strong advantage but not required.
Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English.
A commercial and proactive mindset, high ownership and the ability to work effectively in a small team.

As Head of Trade Marketing & Category Management, you will lead a high-performing category team, driving growth, profitability, and market share in the fresh FMCG segment. You will combine strategic category management with hands-on leadership, ensuring the successful execution of pricing, trade marketing, promotions, and revenue growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Category Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and implement category strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability through pricing, promotions, and assortment optimization.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity to inform category decisions.
- Trade Marketing & Promotions
- Plan, execute, and evaluate trade marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and in-store activations.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to maximize ROI from promotional activities.
- Monitor promotional effectiveness and adjust strategies to achieve targets.
- People Management & Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of category professionals, fostering engagement, accountability, and performance.
- Set clear objectives, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to ensure team success.
- Encourage cross-functional collaboration across sales, marketing, and supply chain teams.
- Pricing & Revenue Management
- Define pricing strategies to maximize volume and profitability while remaining competitive.
- Monitor margin performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with finance and commercial teams on revenue growth management (RGM) initiatives.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Track and analyze category performance metrics, share insights with senior management, and recommend strategic actions.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize category performance and decision-making.
- Master's degree in Business Engineering, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in category management experience, preferably in FMCG sector.
- Small experience in people management, with proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Solid expertise in trade marketing, pricing, promotions, and revenue growth management.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and capable of balancing strategic thinking with operational execution.
- Fluent in French, Dutch and English
Jouw rol:
- Analyseren & rapporteren van data & resultaten (o.m. Google Analytics) om digitale prioriteiten te bepalen en acties aan te sturen die écht impact maken.
- Optimaliseren van SEO, GEO en SEA-campagnes zodat onze producten en content maximaal zichtbaar zijn (merkbekendheid vergroten).
- Creëren van digitale content, inclusief AI-ondersteunde teksten, die scoort bij klanten én zoekmachines.
- Beheren en verbeteren van productinformatie en content op diverse online platformen (marktplaatsen, dealersites (vb. integratie iframes), productdatabases zoals EZ-base…).
- Opzetten, beheren en optimaliseren van e-commerceplatformen.
- Samenwerken met externe partners en interne collega’s om digitale projecten succesvol én efficiënt te realiseren.
Wie ben je?
- Je hebt een bachelor in marketing, communicatie of vergelijkbare ervaring in de digital marketing.
- Relevante ervaring in digitale marketing en e-commerce is een grote plus.
- Je bent vertrouwd met tools en platformen zoals Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Semrush, Hotjar en marktplaatsen.
- Digitale content schrijven doe je foutloos, overtuigend en geoptimaliseerd voor SEO, GEO én advertenties (met hulp van AI tools).
- Analytisch sterk en besluitvaardig: je baseert keuzes op data en resultaten.
- Gestructureerd, nauwkeurig en ervaren in projectmanagement met meerdere stakeholders.
- Hands-on teamspeler die initiatief neemt en vlot communiceert met collega’s en externe partners.
- Je spreekt en schrijft vloeiend Nederlands en Engels; goede kennis Frans is een pluspunt.
