Our ecosystem combines deeply phenotyped cohort studies including biobanking, structured follow-ups, and modern computer-assisted methods. The German Research Foundation (DFG) has accepted Dr. med. Shinwan Kany into the prestigious Emmy Noether Programme. The newly established research project focuses on the topic "Risk stratification for atrial fibrillation and heart failure in individuals with rare cardiomyopathy gene variants using novel methods". The project aims to link large-scale epidemiological data, cloud infrastructures, and machine learning to develop predictive models for high-risk patients. Your role. - You will establish systematic access to large genomic and phenotypic databases (especially UK Biobank and All of Us) and take over their continuous maintenance. - You will be responsible for data management and pipeline infrastructure within dedicated cloud computing structures, such as DNAnexus and the All of Us cloud infrastructure. - You will structure and harmonize the registry and patient data collected within the framework of the clinical work package (WP4), with a specific emphasis on assisting with the maintenance of the TRUST cohort. - You will coordinate data-protection-compliant data exchange as well as rights management between the postdocs and PhD students of the team, as well as the TRUST group. - You will design and implement automated pipelines for quality assurance and AI-assisted anomaly detection in heterogeneous clinical datasets. - You will establish uniform code standards and version controls to ensure reproducible data processing throughout the entire project. Responsibilities - Support sales teams on complex, high-value transactions, and represent Data & AI and Reltio business requirements for pricing, commercial (re)structuring and incentives. - Streamline the quote-to-cash process, ensuring compliance with legal and commercial policies while removing deal obstacles. - Facilitate contract harmonization and readiness for post-merger integration (PMI) and technology partnerships through deep understanding of of General Terms and Conditions (GTCs), order forms, and Data Protection Agreements (DPAs). - Execute PMI and legal entity consolidation (LEC) contract transition strategies, partnering with legal experts and customer journey specialists to define risk mitigations. - Liaise with legal and solution subject matter experts to validate acceptability of customer-requested contractual modifications. - Document objection handling guidance for contract redlines for field enablement. - Track and optimize the financial impact of contract restructures, including incremental revenue, churn risk and Current Cloud Bookings (CCB). - Support the field with legal and commercial questions for Master Data Management (MDM) or Master Data Governance (MDG) RFP/RFI. - Work with GTM leads across the Data & AI, Business Suite, Business AI Platform, Corporate and Partner Ecosystem to reflect and enhance commercial requirements for Reltio solutions for different buying centers and channels. - Provide clarity on compensation and sales incentive policies to the field. - Collaborate with legal and customer journey experts to prepare post legal entity consolidation (LEC) plans, including risk mitigations. - Champion adoption of contract standards, enabling effective collaboration, cross-entity education, and consistent execution in acquisition scenarios. In this role, you will: - Define and own the architecture and technical strategy for complex, AI-native enterprise applications with significant business impact. - Govern and drive the delivery of outcomes across multiple high-impact, high-risk programs, ensuring alignment with SAP’s strategic, customer, and financial objectives. - Embed directly into customer projects and fast moving cross functional teams to rapidly understand business processes, technical landscapes, and operational challenges. - Act as the final escalation point for complex technical and delivery challenges, resolving risks and trade-offs at enterprise scale. - Champion advanced and breakthrough AI-assisted engineering approaches that create competitive advantage and shape SAP’s long-term technology roadmap. - Represent SAP as a trusted technical authority with senior customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. - Provide technical vision, standards, and guidance that enable consistency, quality, and scalability across application engineering initiatives. - Mentor and enable senior engineers and experts, fostering excellence, innovation, and knowledge sharing across the community. What You Bring - You demonstrate a proactive approach to leveraging AI in everyday workflows, ensuring high‑quality outputs through thoughtful context design and system integration. - Deepest level of professional expertise in AI native application or software engineering, with broad experience across enterprise architectures and platforms. - Proven track record of leading complex, high impact programs and influencing technical direction beyond individual projects. - Proven ability to work in an Agentic AI context, shaping and applying AI agents that act autonomously within defined boundaries, collaborate with human stakeholders, and deliver measurable business outcomes in customer centric environments. - Advanced knowledge of large-scale AI enabled systems, leveraging large language models, RAG architectures, vector databases, and agentic systems including ML driven architectures. - Proficient in AI/ML Python libraries and frameworks, data pipelines, MLOps, and agent-driven engineering practices. - Ability to advise and influence senior and executive stakeholders on strategic technical decisions and trade-offs. - Recognition as a trusted authority or thought leader in application engineering, internally and externally. - Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring capabilities in highly complex and ambiguous environments.
