Sharing your Europass profile with EURES just got easier!

Europass continues to strengthen its connection with EURES (European Employment Services), making it simpler than ever for jobseekers to share their profiles with employers and access job opportunities across Europe.

With the latest platform improvements, sharing a Europass profile with EURES is now faster, easier, and more intuitive. By using a single Europass profile, jobseekers remain visible to EURES Advisers and employers across Europe, while benefiting from a more connected experience between the two platforms. This helps jobseekers access more European job opportunities with less effort and greater confidence.

What has improved?

  • A simpler, faster sharing process
The “Share to EURES” flow has been simplified by focusing on the essential steps. Jobseekers are guided through the process step by step. Simple prompts help users fill in their profile as they go, without leaving the sharing process. The system helps jobseekers choose the right skills and jobs terminology from ESCO (the multilingual classification of European Skills, Competences, and Occupations). Using the standardised ESCO terminology makes jobseekers’ profiles easier to understand for employers and supports matching jobs with the right talents. What is more, to help jobseekers better express their job preferences and career goals, the fields for desired location and desired occupation are now more visible and easier to complete.

  • Early eligibility check
Users are informed from the start whether they are eligible to share their profile with EURES. Eligibility can be based on holding the nationality of one of the EURES countries (an EU/EEA country or Switzerland), being a long‑term resident in one of them or having temporary protection status.

  • Clear user consent before sharing
Before a profile is shared, users must explicitly confirm their consent to share their data with EURES and employers across Europe. A clear pop-up explains what sharing involves and requires acceptance of the EURES Privacy Policy, in line with data protection regulations.

  • One single place to share your profile
All profile-sharing options are now grouped under a single “Share profile” button. From there, users can either share their profile with EURES or generate a secure shareable link.

The reinforced collaboration between Europass and EURES highlights a shared commitment to building a simpler and interconnected EU digital offer for jobseekers. By making profile sharing simpler and more transparent, Europass and EURES help users focus on what really matters: finding the right next opportunities and moving their careers forward.
