As a key member of our team, you will support the Chief Information Security Officer by executing day-to-day activities across governance, risk and compliance, and technical security domains. The role helps ensure consistent security controls, reliable evidence for audits and customer questionnaires, and coordination with IT Operations, DevOps, and product teams.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and curate security evidence in SharePoint (policies, procedures, standards, control evidence, audit artefacts).
- Support customer due diligence questionnaires.
- Assist with information security risk identification and assessment activities, including capturing risks, controls, and actions in the relevant register.
- Support policy lifecycle tasks (drafting updates, collecting feedback, publishing, tracking acknowledgements).
- Coordinate with technical teams to collect artefacts needed as evidence, and support vulnerability management, penetration testing logistics, and incident management documentation as needed.
Working arrangements

Who you are
Experience and qualifications
- 5+ years in information security, IT risk, compliance, or a related assurance role.
- Working knowledge of security frameworks (ISO/IEC 27001/27002, BSI Grundschutz, NIST CSF or similar).
- Familiarity with regulated environments and operational resilience expectations (DORA awareness).
- Comfortable working with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint) and issue tracking (Jira).
- Basic understanding of cloud and on-prem security controls (identity, network, endpoint, logging).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Certifications such as ISACA CRISC and ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are desirable.

For a DFG-funded project of the TRR425 initiative “DEFINE” (Desmosomal dysfunction in epithelial barriers), the research group headed by Prof. Dr. med. Dr. (PhD) Daniel Kotlarz at the Comprehensive Childhood Research Center of the Dr. von Hauner Children’s Hospital (CCRC Hauner) is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and intellectually curious
Postdoc in translational research in childhood IBD & epithelial barrier biology.
The overall goal of our interdisciplinary and international research group is to explore molecular causes in children with life-threatening very early onset inflammatory bowel disease (VEO-IBD). Our laboratory applies human genetics, multi-omics technologies, and state-of-the-art preclinical models to decode molecular disease mechanisms and translate discoveries into improved diagnostics and targeted therapies for children with this intractable condition.
The project will be conducted within the vibrant research environment of the CCRC-Hauner (>130 interdisciplinary scientists) that has an outstanding track record in translational sciences and provides state-of-the-art core facilities (CF) (e.g., NGS, flow cytometry, microscopy). In parallel, we have a bioinformatics team at Helmholtz Munich that supports all projects leveraging advanced multi-omics, computational biology, and AI-driven infrastructures within the Computational Health Center, an emerging European hub for AI-driven precision medicine (>40 PIs). Our institutes follows the guiding mission "Concept Pediatrics – the Child at the Center of Science", bridging fundamental discovery with patient-oriented clinical applications.
You will take a leading role in driving innovative experimental strategies to dissect epithelial barrier dysfunction and immune–epithelial interactions in VEO-IBD.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Designing and executing experiments using CRISPR/Cas9 and viral genome engineering
· Differentiating, culturing and manipulating human intestinal organoids
· Establishing and analyzing immune cell-organoid co-culture systems and infection models
· Investigating epithelial barrier integrity, junctional dynamics, and signaling pathways
· Applying advanced imaging and molecular techniques

- You will perform manoeuvre loads calculations covering our fleet from a very early design stage until certification.

- You would also support airlines through Airbus Customer Services by carrying out L&A analyses of in-service events:

Quality & Process Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with aerospace and development standards such as EN 9100, ARP4754, DO-178C, and DO-254
- Support development, certification, and airworthiness activities in accordance with EMAR Part 21/145
- Plan and execute audits, process assurance reviews, and quality gates
- Drive preventive quality measures (Right-First-Time, APQP, FMEA)
Engineering Quality Activities:
- Monitor requirements traceability and ensure proper allocation of quality requirements
- Support and assess technical reviews and process assurance activities
- Collaborating with development, systems engineering, and test teams to integrate quality throughout the entire product development process
- Train and raise awareness among the EuroDrone community regarding quality requirements and processes.

Qualifications:
- Degree in engineering, aerospace engineering, or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in quality management, preferably in the defense aerospace environment
- Sound knowledge of quality management standards (e.g., EN 9100, AQAP 2310),
- Experience with process assurance, software quality assurance, and hardware quality assurance. Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g., ARP4754A, DO-178, DO-330, DO-254).
- Knowledge of relevant defense aviation regulations (e.g., EMAR Part 21/145) would be a plus
- Experience with Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and/or large-scale aviation programs is an advantage.

Over two exciting years, you’ll gain hands-on experiences and become an active part of your team’s daily activities. Through impactful projects in three customized assignments - including an eight-month international placement - you’ll gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. A dedicated mentor will support you every step of the way, giving you the chance to explore different roles, engage in immersive experiences, and build a strong network with peers and industry leaders.
Be part of our execution team in the Electrical Engineering unit, where you apply your knowledge to impactful real-world projects. In collaboration with highly motivated professionals and diverse stakeholders across the globe, you ensure the success of our power generation or power-to-X projects.
How You’ll Make an Impact
As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.
* Work within the project execution team and ensure coordination with clients, partners, suppliers, and our internal erection and commissioning teams
* Prepare basic and detailed designs and optimize interfaces for our components and systems
* Support the team in ensuring our project tasks and deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and EHS standards
* Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks
What You Bring
* Highly motivated team player with strong problem solving and analytical skills paired with a hands-on approach
* Relevant experience through internships and/or working student roles is essential; additional permanent work experience of up to 36 months is welcome
* A master's or doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering
* Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working
* Excellent English and fluent German skills to engage in a multicultural environment, with flexibility and willingness for international travel
Gas Services
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.

To strengthen our global procurement organization, we are looking for a Global Procurement Manager (m/f/d) responsible for defined subcategories within the Finished Products portfolio. In this role, you will contribute to global sourcing strategies, manage international supplier relationships, and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure competitive, reliable, and sustainable sourcing solutions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of global sourcing and category strategies for assigned subcategories within Finished Products.
- Manage, evaluate, and continuously develop international suppliers within the responsible subcategories.
- Conduct global market, cost, and supplier analyses to identify new sourcing opportunities, particularly in the area of precision and mechanical manufacturing.
- Take ownership of supplier relationships within the assigned scope, including contract management and performance monitoring to ensure effective and compliant supplier management.
- Prepare and conduct price, contract, and commercial negotiations in alignment with global category strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Product Management to align sourcing activities with technical and business requirements.
- Ensure delivery reliability, support capacity planning, and implement proactive risk management across the assigned supplier base.
- Define, track, and report KPIs, cost-saving initiatives, and performance metrics for the responsible subcategories.
- Actively contribute to global and cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing procurement, sourcing, and supply chain processes in collaboration with group-wide purchasing functions.
Your Profile:
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a comparable qualification, ideally combined with a strong technical background.
- Preferably complemented by vocational training as a toolmaker, CNC machinist, or machining specialist.
- At least two years of professional experience in strategic sourcing or technical procurement, ideally within an internationally operating industrial company with responsibility for finished or assembled products.
- Proven experience in supplier and subcategory management, combined with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- High level of intercultural competence and confidence in working with international stakeholders and suppliers.
- Strong analytical, structured, and strategic mindset.
- Very good knowledge of SAP and strong proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English language skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, along with resilience and flexibility.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
