Purpose
As Head of Sales and Business Development, you will translate EWT Systems' differentiated DirectWind technology and service capabilities into predictable, profitable growth by converting priority markets and known projects into contractually secured turbine and service revenues, while systematically developing new markets and partnerships that strengthen the company's long‑term resilience and value.
Place in the organization
You will be part of the Management Team, reporting to the CEO.
Place of work/ working hours
You will be working from our main office in Amersfoort. This is a full-time role. International travel for 20 percent of your time can be anticipated.
Key activities/responsibilities - Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy, combining long-term market development with the achievement of annual revenue targets; - Take full ownership of revenue and gross margin performance, including forecasting, pipeline development, order intake, and overall profitability; - Identify and prioritize new business opportunities, customer segments, markets, and channels that contribute to sustainable growth; - Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners, supporting long-term collaboration and business expansion; - Lead complex B2B sales processes from initial engagement through contract negotiation and closing; - Define and implement pricing strategies and commercial propositions in line with market positioning and margin objectives; - Structure and professionalize sales processes, ensuring disciplined opportunity qualification and consistent contract review standards; - Actively manage the sales pipeline to ensure consistent deal flow and predictable revenue performance; - Lead, coach, and develop the commercial team, setting clear targets and monitoring performance against agreed KPI's; -...
