A leading player in the manufacturing sector and located in Geel, is seeking a talented and ambitious Controller. As a Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial insights and strategies. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll provide key performance measurements, analyse critical indicators, and collaborate with management to ensure optimal decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a trusted advisor to local management.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
- Partnering closely with the CFO and other stakeholders to drive financial success.
- Managing monthly closings and providing guidance on accruals and commissions.
- Delivering clear, data-driven reports based on reliable KPIs (daily/weekly/monthly).
- Analysing performance metrics and addressing issues alongside relevant managers.
- Preparing accurate monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
- Monitoring stock valuations, internal controls, and overall performance.
We're looking for a Controller who brings enthusiasm to the table. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Master's degree in Applied Economics or equivalent qualifications.
- A first experience in financial audit or consultancy is highly valued.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and their functionalities is a plus.
- Strong command of Dutch and English; knowledge of French is an advantage.

Are you ready to make a real impact on the reliability and performance of our installations? As a Reliability Engineer at Paulig, you ensure that our equipment and systems operate at their best. You are the driving force behind improving reliability, availability, and maintainability by applying technical expertise, data analysis, and proactive maintenance strategies.
In this role, you are responsible for minimizing downtime and maintenance costs while maximizing production output and asset lifespan. You combine analytical insight with practical solutions to ensure our installations run efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement reliability strategies to improve equipment availability and reduce maintenance costs
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in case of failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Monitor asset condition using techniques such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, and thermography
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Create and maintain reliability models such as FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance)
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, failure patterns, and improvement opportunities
- Support investment projects by providing reliability input during design, commissioning, and start-up
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations related to equipment use and maintenance
- Train maintenance and operational staff in reliability best practices and tools
- Contribute to compliance with required audits (FSSC, ISO14001, BRC or similar) and to achieving quality objectives, safety rules, instructions, and environmental performance
- Work according to the company's guiding principles
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in electromechanics and possess extensive theoretical and practical knowledge.
- You preferably have 5 years of experience in production processes; experience in the food industry is an asset.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
- You are analytical, hands-on, have a mindset focused on continuous improvement, and you are flexible, communicative, persistent, and a true team player.
- You mainly work during daytime hours, but you are willing to be flexible when needed.
- You act as the right hand of the Technical Engineering Manager and are prepared to replace them for short periods.
